She was cornered by the big one the other night and I got there in time to catch her going for Layla's throat...I can't keep her in the environment where she feels so attacked. She is so tiny and doesn't have it in her to fight back...such a sweetie. She needs to go to a home with no cats. I think she would be fine with other yorkies though I haven't had her around any to say for sure. She is up to date on her shots and everything. Layla has NOT been spayed, but she is WAY TOO TINY to breed. Please do not inquire if you plan to breed her. In fact if you have a male, I would like to at least have a vet reference to check and be sure that your male is altered to prevent preg. I was looking for a male unaltered, but Layla would not have been here during her heats. So there would be no chance of breeding...just had to say that. Layla loves attention. She is like velcro puppy! She gets in the shower with me all on her own, so she probably will cling to you as well. She is a GREAT jumper, gets on couches and beds with zero problem. Getting down...well, needs something to get down onto for safety. She is not housebroken yet...we have accidents at least twice a day still, but she is trying. She will come with her simple solutions puppy pads and the puppy training phermone spray to attract her to the pad for potty. Also, with all her toys, clothes, and treats. She is pretty spoiled, and I hope to find her a home that will spoil her just as much, if not more! I am attaching pics of her below. She is just the cutest little girl with very silky hair. She is starting to break a nice silvery blue in the middle of her back at the part, and her head is blonding up a lot. No clue yet what coloration she will have as an adult, but she sure is cute. I have more pics, so if you are interested let me know and I can send them. |
Awww, I'm sorry you have to sell your baby. Best of luck finding a forever home for her. She's so precious. |
Thank you. She is the sweetest little thing, and I want her to be safe and free from getting beat up...otherwise she would definitely be staying here. I am so depressed about this...actually beyond depressed...and distraught... |
She is beautiful!!! I am sorry you have to find a home for her. You are stronger than I would be. Of course I would find new homes for my cats before I would I give up any of my dogs. Luckily my cats love my dogs and love playing with them and I don't have any problems with them. I hope she finds a great home!! |
Trust me, I don't feel strong. My cats have been with me for a long time, and the ring leader in the "Take out Layla" warfront is a cat that I bottle fed as a kitten and is VERY attached to me. I didn't think there would be a problem as she has been good with small dogs that have come to visit us before and stayed a week or so...but, she must have KNOWN they were leaving and that this one was meant to be permanent. THere is just nothing that could make me get rid of my Trinity...she is like my first child... :( |
I have 2 old cats and when i got Pippa she would try and play with them and got hurt a lot and even had her eyeball cut real bad. I was always at the vets and i asked him what i was gonna do and he said she will learn! And about a year on she finally did learn and gives them a wide berth now. |
Awww I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm sure you'll find her a wonderful home. Best of luck to you. |
Oh, sheis so cute ! It's hearbreaking you need to sell her.. |
I know she is very tiny but you should really consider spaying her before you let her go if you dont want her to be bred. So many people could email you and lie to you about their "wonderful" home but in reality just looking for a tiny to breed in hopes of getting other tinies to make $$ off of her. If the vet uses the right gas (iso or Sevo) and you do pre op bloodwork and all comes back good she should be safe |

I was worrying about the same thing. There are so many scams and untrustworthy people out there. I feel you should be very careful, as much as you can be. I know you love her and only want what's best for her. Best wishes to you in finding her a great forever home. |
She's very sweet and so tiny. I hope that you're able to find her a perfect home!:) |
