female yorkie please send me pics of the female, and what do you except her weight to be full grown? is she akc registered? thanks, Lynn |
Lynn, I've had trouble posting photos so if you'll send me your email address I can send you some. I expect her to weigh between 7-8 pounds full grown. I'm not sure about the AKC registration. I am in the process of registering the dam with the CKC as she was a rescue and had been passed around through several homes before I got her so I do not have any papers on her. The sire is AKC registered. If the pups can be registered through AKC with one parent having only CKC papers, then I will register the litter with AKC. Jacki |
Jacki - sorry you cannot register the pups with AKC since they require both parents must be AKC registered too. No, you cannot registered mom with AKC since you do not have papers on her. To do so her parents must be AKC too. AKC is a purebreed register and you must have papers to prove bloodline and since you got mom from the rescue she cannot be registered with AKC. Sorry. Just trying to answer your questions to help. Best of luck. T. |
Thanks topnot for the info! I've never been in this situation having only bred Boxers years ago. Having these little tiny ones around sure is different! |
Edit Of Original Post My apologies. I mis-stated the birthweight of the female (got her mixed up with the other one). Her weight at birth was 4.5 ounces. I tried to edit the post, but could not find an edit button. Thanks! |
I'm going to try my best to post photos of the two pups I have available. If it doesn't work, please don't think I was bumping my own thread. Somebody please let me know if they came out okay. The pups are probably a little timid as I took them to a friend's house and there were three teenage girls standing around oohing and aahing. They really are precious and playful. Well, I can see it didn't work. Guess I have to get with Villette! |
