Just out of curiosity; would you mind posting some pictures of your adult yorkies too?

Do you show any of your babies in AKC sanctioned shows?

If you don't mind me asking; when you breed, what's your purpose?

Also, why do you sale your males for less than your females?

Let's see. To start at the top.
1. We don't personally show, but have sold our puppies to people for that purpose.
2. We breed our pets, for one it cuts the chances for the females getting infections, and also we enjoy sharing.
3. Price =...supply and demand.
We are not a kennel. These puppies are from our household pets. We seek GOOD homes for our puppies. There are costs for AKC which in our opinion, the BEST registry our country has to offer,and health costs to make sure our puppies are healthy from the get go. These puppies take a lot of time also. We paid a very high cost to get our male and drove a LONG ways to get such a little healthy little guy that we would be allowed to use as a breeder. Also this is a stay at home hobby for me. We also sell our puppies at less cost if the buyer is approved and does not want the AKC (American Kennel Club) papers. We would also ask more for tiny's when we have them because they take extra care and attention, and we also keep tiny's until at least 12 weeks of age unless the buyer will assure that they will be at home with the puppy most all the time untill the puppies are at least 12 to 13 weeks of age. Our puppies are VERY socialized with our family. We have children and plenty of love is given to them as the grow, all the way up till they are ready to go. So if someone is planning to keep them in cages all the time, they wouldn't want our puppies. As I put before on the post, we keep the babies and parents up to date on health preventatives. Wormings, vaccinations, dew claws removed, tails docked, and a Vet puppy check at 8 weeks or earlier if we have extra health concerns, which hasn't ever happened to this point. Good questions. Before I continue on, I'm asking that you take no offense to any of my questions. I am by no means pointing a finger at anyone here. I am truly only interested in knowing what's the purpose for doing such things and what drives people to do them.

Well, how is it that you'd be able to sell a show prospect when your dogs have not been proven to be of such quality themselves?

What infections are you referring to?
Spay/neuter would also prevents such health related concernable issues, why not just do that?
If that is the reason that you breed, why continue to travel to far lenghts to obtain more dogs, only to later be concerned with these issues?

So you sell your girls for more because they are demanded more frequently amongst the general public or less?
Assuming that they are sold and allowed to be breed?

You never once mentioned that you breed to improve upon the breed as a whole, nor did you mention to preserve the breeds qualities. With that being said; I'd now like to ask what are some qualities in your dogs that you'd like to improve upon and/or enrich and what are the faults within them that you'd like to eradicate?

I will politely say I am taking a slight offense. We have 3 Yorkies. We did want to breed them from the beginning. You are treading into an area I do not want to go. We went 400 miles for the females because we are picky. We drove 600 miles because we knew what male we wanted. To top it off, and to note: we possibbly have just sold the last female. in the last few minutes. I will update for sure. I see you are PRO-spade and neutering. I respect that, but I will leave it at that and not question you to your personal ideas on the subject. I respect your opinion and that is your right. Please respect ours....justus

Nothing can be brought up that I feel is personal about our yorkie's or children, that I don't get a bit defensive(maybe I should work on that:confused: ) We do love our yorkies and our children. :love: ....justus

Nazir's you have not been on YT very long.
If you read the posts here.. you will find out all breeders do things differently.
But we do not attack each other because our opinions are different.
Since you are a breeder of min pins you know most of the answers to the question you asked.
And I think you would be a bit offended if someone were to grill you on your breeding practices.
A question to you ..were you interested in a pup or just trying to stir something up?

I understand why you'd get offended but honestly, there's no need. You may have felt as though I was questioning your ethics but my intentions were truly more sincere than that. This is a topic that can rarely be discussed in an respectable yet informative manner. But IMO, that shouldn't be the case. I am not "pro-spay" nor am I "pro-neuter" but I am Pro-Animal. By that I mean, when concerning animals (our love ones) I only want the best for them. I am not against breeding but I am against mass production, animals being breed for no cause or ethical reasoning behind it. This is only because of the results and effects of it.

I apologize if I offended. I just hope that one day some non show person will believe in what they do so much that they'd not have a problem sharing their beliefs with the world or even, not being offend by them. After all, I've not ever met a show breeder that wouldn't go on and on at a drop of a dime about what they do and why they do it without any offense being taken.

By no mean is that to say that you are not reputable. I am just saying that have not found those same responses outside of those show breeders.

I would one day truly like to hold a serious conversation with someone that doesn't show but is eagerly willing to talk about their breed and breeding practices.

Actually, as I stated in my previous post, my intentions were not to stirr up anything. Which is why I've decided to drop it.

You refered to me as a breeder of miniature pinschers and that is not what I'd consider myself as at this point, as I've not ever bred a litter. When I do so, I dont believe that I'd take offense to the questions that I asked, if they were to be asked to me because I would be able to answer them easily without concern.

Am I looking for a yorkie? This is the question that you asked me but I don't see what a difference it would actually make in eradicating a problem before it were to start. This is what I'm assuming you were attempting to do. But, to answer your question, I've been looking for a yorkie for some time now and I feel that the questions that I asked were appropriate questions to be asked when evaluating a breeder. Just as I'm sure that the breeder would have questions for me as well.

Again, I apologize if I offended anyone with my questions. I know that it probably would have be taken totally differently if it were to be done in private but the post was put out here for the general public and board to see, I only replied.
