My Breeder has a little female girl 6 weeks old that is 8 oz. she is selling her for $1700.00 if your interested please pm me she is going to send me a picture and i will try to post it.

This little girl is 6 weeks. She weighs 8 Ozs. She is going to be about 2 lbs grown. She is AKC registered. She is black/gold, she won't be able to be shipped until she is 12 weeks. She is energetic and she is eating good. She was born march 1. 2005. She fits in the palm of my grandson hand, My grandson is 3 years old.

What is your breeders name & can you tell me more about your breeder? Does she have a website I can look at? Isn't $1700 a lot for a yorkie?

That seems to be the standard price of Yorkies here. Exspecially girls!!! I haven't found one under 1500.00. And so many breeders I've talked to on the phone are $1500 for one that isn't registered. That's what I think is crazy. They could be 1/2 sher-pei for all we know!!

There are two 12 week old girls listed in our paper right now for only $500.00. I only paid $850.00 for sebastian but could have gotten him for less if I would have waited another month or two.

In the Balto-Wash area the starting price is $1500.00 and up. IMO that is not a bad price IF and that is a big IF there is a great sales agreement, health clause and so on. I have paid as much as $3500.00 for my babes that I am raising to decide if they are breed quality or not. They could be just expensive pets, but that is okay. I am a "pay your money, take your chances" person. Lots of chances I have taken, lots of my babies are spayed/neutered and in pet homes of friends and family. I am so far in Yorkie RED I will never claw myself up the financial-break-even ladder. But, when you are dealing with living creatures, there are more chances than guarantees.
