PS: Guarantee PS: How many of you got a TWO YEAR guarantee with your pups like she gives with hers.? |

I dont think it matters the length of the health contract to most reputable breeders, what matters is the condition in which they are raised. IMHO raising yorkies in a true kennel situation is not optimal for proper development regardless of a "2 year health guarantee" or cleanliness of a out building. The daily interaction required to raise not only a healthy but HAPPY PUPPY is not nurtured through wire fences and cold cement floors. IMHO this site is quanitity not quality! |

Second, Gloria spends her enitire days in her office IN THE KENNEL that houses new pups and their mommies. It is her life's work as she is not a young girl! She, her husband and grown daughter do more one to one NURTURING, of the pups as well as the parents, than many people I have seen that just have pets. I see you are a breeder and I am not going to argue about what I KNOW and have SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES, oh probably a dozen times at least, as I go out just to take my babies and visit occasionally! I am a 60 year old lady, raised shih tzus about 20 years ago, and have seen my share of breeders! The sickening ones I have been to far outnumber the good ones. I doubt if there is a human living that loves furbabies more than I do and there well being is of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO ME! As I said to each their own and no-one can JUDGE anything sight unseen. |

That's more or less how I made my judgement of the place. Pictures speak a million words. |
1 Attachment(s) I am sorry, but this site looks to me more about $$$ than the animals no matter what you say. A reputable breeder in my oppinion is one that limits themselves to one maybe two breeds and goes to great lenghts having daily interactions with their babies. Ok, I am sure they can see her from their locked cages, but they dont have the ablitiy to run play and enjoy life like the average dog. Tis puppy room is what got me, I can not believe that this seems ok to people, I can see having a keenel for safty, but not to house all the dogs I cant contain myself properly. |
1 Attachment(s) Post them all to give a fair view. The one you posted made the statement right beside the picture that new pictures would be taken in Spring when everything turns green. That pic was taken on a dreary damp TX day! She certainly doesn't need my praises as she has years of happy, happy customers and years of excellent references. But with the way some of you judge something you have not seen yourself, I feel I am doing her an injustice to post her website on here so I will leave it to folks who are sensible and intelligent enough to go and judge for themselves if they are looking for a wonderful, happy, extremely healthy pup. Am posting this pic as well as what is stated beside it as follows: This is the west side of the kennel. The entire kennel is climate controlled and all of the dogs have their own beds and toys. |

1 Attachment(s) Oops....sorry...just had to post this adorable baby that I went to see last week. She has the same parents as my precious Rainbow. My Rainbow has 39 champions in her pedigree. |
My only response here is that images speak for themselves, weather notwithstanding. Box pens are just that and multiple breeds housed in a separate facility from family living quarters just promotes a different atomosphere from what I prefer to see. It is my opinion that yorkies raised underfoot in the home as part of the family and exposed to the sounds, smells, sights and interaction that all that entails have a more solid foundation for a well rounded temperment that will better suit them for a family life in future. |
Come on YTer's, be fair. We have never meet this breeder, we have never been to her facilities, or owned any of her puppies, so it seems unjust to make comments about things we do not truly know about. The breeder isn't even here to defend themselves, and the person who posted the wanted ad, hasn't been helped to find a yorkie puppy, which was the orginial goal of this thread. Some of you might be upset over the pictures from her site, which is understandable, i don't particuarly "love" them, BUT just viewing photo's isn't enough to draw a well rounded conclusion about someone's breeding ethics. The person on this thread who has the most knowlegde on this breeder is Luvmybabies. I also prefer to get a puppy who has been raised in a home, but that doesn't mean that using a kennel is wrong. Plus luvmybabies puppies are too cute for words, so there breeder must of done something right :) |
