Small female wanted for a loving New Hampshire home I have been blessed with 5 Yorkies over the past many years. But now I am experiencing major Yorkie withdrawal after my ex took my dog with her went she left the state. I should have fought harder to keep her (the Yorkie that is), but it did not work out. I am looking for a small (smaller than AKC standard) female healthy pup for a loving home in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. My last one was 3 lbs. full grown, with a great coat, and was very healthy, loving & spunky (from Foxfire in CT). I do not intend to breed or show. Only intend to love and spoil rotten. Please: nothing from puppy mills or puppy brokers. Prefer home breeders with well-socialized dogs. Thanks for your consideration & any referrals. Norm |

Call or email your local Yorkshire Terrier club,, or the nearest one to you, talk to the president, ask for recommendation for responsible pet-quality breeders and network from there. They can give you some great pointers & insignt to various breeders and talking to them may lead to any pups or dogs a breeder might be looking to place in a pet home. Be prepared to be grilled on your dog & vetting history & present living conditions, yard, location near vet, etc., so they can properly assess you for "worthiness" to own one of their dogs. If they don't, move on until you find a breeder who cares deeply about the fate of the dog he's selling. Or you might try Yorkie rescues. |
