I need to know if this email is a scam.
 

I recently lost my yorkie and am extremely lonely and want a companion. While looking around I got this email, which seems suspicious to me. Somebody just tell me it is. I'm heartbroken and willing to believe anything.

They are still available okay,because i am really trying to locate the best home for them. They are by name Nancy and Max, they are about 13 weeks and some days old .Nancy is about 3lbs and will be about 6.5lbs when fully grown. Max is 3.5 lbs and will be 7lbs when fully grown.
They have gotten all their shots,have been on a heart worm prevention and wormed. They are house train and potty. All of them have been great together and they have been good around other pets.I am just so concerned about their welfare and hope you can assure me of that.They are little babies every heart of any family will desire.They come along with health documents like Registration papers, champion bloodlines,travel crates with toys and a year guarantee including a handbook on how to raise puppies.
(Max ) Male, is a gorgeous pet,loves playing on the lawns,will always eat all his food, hates being ignored by Nancy the female Max has a fine move, entertains our visitors and he is indeed a boo

(Nancy) Female,is proud ladies,hates dirty areas,she will always seat on their masters laps especially during movies. she hates being called other names and she likes eating on the dinning ,however she is very careful.
I am giving them out for adoption because of my newly acquired Job as a Legal Consultant which demands a lot of my time and entails a lot of traveling. As such, i have little or no time to spend with them.They a re really in need of a home where they will be provided with all the love,care and attention they are being deprived of here.
I am presently in Delaware on a 9 months assignment.I am here in Delaware with the puppies.I have little or no time to spend with them which is the more reason i am giving them out for adoption.You should understand that i am giving them free because all i expect from you is that you promise and assure me that you are going to take proper care of them.If you think you can take great care of the puppies then feel free to come immediately and present yourself and pick them up, but if you can afford the cost of shipping to your location.
then i can help you arrange for a shipping service to your location if you can not make it up here to pick them up.I will be happy if you will give my lovely babies a nice and for ever home..however, i can have them shipped to you if you can assure me that you will take proper care of them by answering to the below questions and providing me with the following
Have you ever had a puppy before......?
Do you promise to take proper care of them............?
To provide pictures so i see how they is doing.........?
What is your exact
location?.................?
Do you want both or just one ? male or female ?
When do you want them.

I would have to say yes it is a scam, we have had many unsuspecting people come to Yorkie Talk with email of the almost the same content. Please do not send them money.


If you are looking for another Yorkie to join your family I would suggest you post in the General Yorkie area. There are a lot of experience Yorkie owners there who can guide you in finding your next family member.


I am sorry for you loss and I can fully understand your wanting another Yorkie but please do not fall prey to this email.

This is a VERY BIG SCAM. This scam has been around for years and sadly many people fall for it and loose out on lot's of money. RUN, RUN fast from this.

The spelling and phrasing is a big clue that this is a foreign person. SCAM!

It's a scam....don't send this low life any money! I've gotten many of these emails over the years, looking for various pets, and I can spot them a mile away. I actually had one person tell me (in very poorly written English) to go jump off of a bridge, when I refused to send them money, lol. I'm very sorry for your loss and I hope you find new baby soon. Maybe do a search and see if you can find a local breeder, somewhere that you can go and pick the puppy up or maybe someone can recommend a good breeder on here. Good luck.

After reading it over again when more calm I realize this is a scam. Thank you for your comments. I will defiantly look around on here for a breeder because the local classifieds have people claiming to be breeders and then you another ad posted after that about the same dog saying that dog was stolen from my home.

I'm not going back to the breeder I got Bowser from because of his many health complications.

I will take my time with this process for both of our sakes.

Im so very sorry and just want to eliminate even a shadow of doubt. :(

Yes, 13 week old dogs are never potty trained, and for a legal consultant, she has very poor English. You could probably do an image search on Google and find their pictures on various sites. I hate these scammers, they prey on the vulnerable.

Yes it seems like a scam. I may sound like a snob, but I refuse to do business/hand money over to someone whose English I can barely make sense out of. If this were a simple buying of clothes/shoes that's less than $50 no problem. But if it's more and involves another life I need us to be able to understand each other perfectly. I swear these scammers all sound the same

I always get one from a barrister in Nigeria telling me they are giving me money.

Anyone who is a legal consultant should be able to articulate better than that. Do not be fooled into this. They are playing on your heartstrings.
