We are only getting rid of him because of the time involved with caring and loving him. We are always gone and he does not always get the attention he needs. We do love him and want him to go to a loving home.

Jenni08 - You're very welcome - I wonder though - they have a small child - perhaps they should be thinking of a bigger yorkie just for the simple reason that a SMALL yorkie can easily be injured ? If someone is getting a tiny yorkie for a 3 year old - I just don't think that's a good idea - a larger yorkie and one good around kids sounds like a much better match -

But who am I to say ? :( GOOD LUCK in finding Toby a good home - he really looks like a sweetie

That is a shame that didnt work out. I think your dog is better suited for him with a 3 year old child.

He does look like a lovey! I hope that you find Toby a good home. Too bad about that person wanting a tiny. I wouldn't do it if I had a child that young. Too many injuries can happen. :( I wish them the best, too. :(

So true, so true. Taylor is 4 and when I watch her with our pups (and trust me, she ain't around em if I ain't RIGHT THERE!) it makes me so nervous. She is very careful with them when she holds them...but hey, she IS 4...still makes me nervous. She does OK w/ Trixie...don't know if it is because Trixie is 6 1/2 lbs, because she can out run her, because Taylor has no interest in Trixie at all--just Flash...not sure...

well he said he had to talk to his wife but she was really looking for something smaller. They would let me know later this evening so maybe it will work for us.

He looks very sweet. 9lbs is not that big at all.
With the risk of sounding like a jerk, if this does work out, make sure his wife really wants him and loves him - I would feel bad if she resented him his whole life because of his weight if she wanted a tiny dog.

Awww... wish I could take him since I'm looking for a male yorkie. But hubby won't spend $500 on a dog plus airfare. :p Good luck to the baby boy. *huggles*
