NO I would not recommend staryorkie.com. She is a puppymill or a broker. Those poor puppies look so sad...

hmmmmm, I thought I was missing something because the hair on my neck litterally stood up when I visited the site...they are actually also a member here, I think, ho hum. Maybe others will have some more info to share?

Are they still doing that horrible Yorkie Raffle? Isn't that where they sell a set amount of tickets each month to raffle off a puppy and claim it's a great way to own a Yorkie if you don't have the funds? :confused:

That's terrible because if they cant afford the dog how can they afford the care its gonna need. But heck nobody could afford one of there dogs sheesh I saw one for 4,000.

No one should go to them to get a puppy one because there is no such thing as a teacup just a word used to jack up the prices two if you have that many puppies you are either a broker or a puppy mill either one not good.

Couldn't find anything about a raffle but there is a you can get a puppy if you can't afford one by facebook likes, I couldn't read through it, but omg really? really? like me on facebook and I'll give you a puppy? dear goodness, thats beyond pathetic.

This is just so sickening. These people will sell on several different websites at varying prices. They will take $450 or they will take $3,000. Whoever comes up the money first. The buyer usually does not get the pictured pup but whatever pup they have handy. These people work with puppy mills from this country and some of them even import dogs from other countries, like Korea. Many people receive sick and dying puppies and never get their money back. They only have the heartache of seeing a suffering little fur baby and a huge vet bill.
These are the worst kind of "humans."

Most of what I know I have learned since coming to YT. It is heartbreaking to read the various stories of people who have been taken in by these scams. Just recently someone posted a link to her webpage with info on the particular person who sold her a very expensive dying puppy. Many states are passing puppy lemon laws and you do have legal rights. Even in states that don't have the lemon laws, you can probably take the breeder to small claims court if a vet says that the dog had a genetic problem or the illness was there when you purchased it. The problem is most people are emotionally devastated when something like this happens, it's not even about the money and money won't make them feel any better so they don't do anything. However suing these breeders would put many out of business, and I encourage people to do it, don’t just take another dog from them, get your money back. Some courts have even allowed suing for punitive damages or pain and suffering.
