Looking to Puppy hello, My wife and I are looking to purchase or adopt a puppy Yorkie. Almost spent over $1000 at a pet store today before I came to my senses and decided to do research instead. During my research I've come to learn about Puppy Mills which I had no idea existed. Didn't think that people would be so cruel. We would greatly appreciate if someone could please direct us to a place where we could adopt or purchase a Yorkie puppy. Thank you Fausto |
Yorkshire Terrier Club of America- Great resource- Only purchase from reputable breeders. You can also try petfinder or google yorkie rescues in your area if looking to adopt. Good luck in your search. |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk! Good luck in your search for your furbaby. |
Thank you guys... I'll keep you posted on our progress.. |
Best of luck. Purchase your breeder first, and then the pup. YTCA.org |
fajoza45 -- take a look at the threads posted you'll see there's someone in MD who is looking to rehome her 2 yr old male Yorkie. She's asking a fee and he's not neutered. If you are truly serious about getting a Yorkie please contact her. |
Here's the post ... please act fast if you are truly interested. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...aldorf-md.html |

I live in Hopatcong, NJ and my silky girl is expecting babies in January, PM Me if you would like more information.. Welcome to YT.. hugs, |
since silkies are bigger and a bit stronger than yorkies, they do well in families with children,I posted to the OP, my waiting list is getting full. I just wanted to let them know.. hugs |
hi, are you still looking for a yorkie puppy |
@buster4561: I'm still looking for a puppy. Do you know of any good breeders in the area? |
i dont know any breeders but i have a 9 week old male looking for a good home,i bought 2 puppies from a breeder in pa |
What are you trying to do - sell or rehome? Who did you purchase your puppy from? Do they have a website so that I can check them out? Not looking to purchase from a BYB. |
9 weeks is really young to let a puppy go and it really increases the risk of hypoglycemia. |
