wanted... a morkie I live in the dfw, tx area and would like a morkie. The parents need to be all maltese or all yorkie. Both parents need to be perferably 4-6 pounds. I would like them to be registererd. The puppies need to be born and raised in the house with the family. my name is marlene brookman and i'm serious about my purchase. I will consider up to a 2hour radius of dallas, tx. my email is mbroo1127@aol.com. Thanks much!!! |
Why bother with the parents being registered? No reputable agency will register mixed breeds. For that matter, no reputable breeder purposely crosses breeds. |

They're based in forney and have yorkies, chihuahuas, morkies and even the ever popular and nonexistent teacup yorkie!!! |
morkie while i understand i cannot register the morkie, i would like to know that i have a pure bred mother and father. I had a champion line maltese and the person i got it from was the best. my dog never had the pink eye stains. he had congestive heart failure and eventually he passed. I would rather not have a maltese again, as i'm wanting the yorkie colors, but i would like to have a cross breed. marlene p.s. i've looked at txteacups, and wasn't sure on the website. I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to help me lead me to a good breeder/or person who have morkies. |
Morkie. I don't personally know of any Morkie breeders off the top of my head, as I was after a Biewer myself! I did see a Biewer breeder who had a Morkie, and I pm'd you the link. I will let you do the research, as you seem to have some pretty high expectations (no offense). That's all the help I could provide, but I wish you luck! If a Morkie is what you want, I sincerely hope that you find one that you love. In the end, that's all that matters when you find a dog to adopt. :aimeeyork |
Texasteacups.com? EEK. Free and low cost puppies, Many different breeds, best petstore in town. I'd read more about this place before reccomending it to anyone. Doesn't seem like a very good place to send newbies or anyone for that matter. |

Besides the fact that ANYONE who purposely breeds mixed breed dogs is questionable at best. |

I hate that sarcasm doesn't come through on message board posts...... I was being sarcastic about them, that's why I commented about the "ever popular and nonexistent teacup yorkie". |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk, hope you find the baby you are looking for. |

There seems to be some who are quite unkind about cross breeds. I hate to tell you but every purebred dog there is came from a cross breed of some sort. I believe there are some on YT that own Morkies and Shorkies as well as other cross breeds. Not everyone can buy from a person who breeds show dogs. That does not exclude them from being good owners. It's unfortunate that those who don't accept that Morkies are quite popular can't just say nothing. |
