they have some puppies listed on another site and was wondering if anyone here has heard or delt with them?

Is this actually a pet store? If it is, I am always concerned that buying from a pet store usually means you are getting a dog from a puppy mill. I would check this place out further, is there a better website?

Reputable breeder. sales in NJ??? Guy Garner?? Another thread on here about this Pet store in NJ

Never buy from pet stores. They get their puppies from puppymills.

My 2 pieces of advice are below depending on what type of place they turn out to be.

Pet Store - run away fast

Breeder - Check out thoroughly. Better to be safe then sorry.

Oh wow.. just visited the website and this is the first thing I saw in big letters:

$399 MANIA!!! Pups priced at only $399!!

That advertisement alone makes me want to run away from this site and never look back

About us D & G’s Petite Pups is a small family run business. We were incorporated in 2004 as Petite Pups. Our primary focus was to provide an awesome family pet, with an excellent warranty; puppies that were bred for temperament and standard, at reasonable prices. We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of our customers, being available at anytime of the day or night and doing our utmost to satisfy “new puppy parent” jitters.

In 2007 we became an LLC, thereby changing our name to D & G’s Petite Pups, in an effort to truly differentiate our name, standards, quality and warm family environment.

Initially it was hard to keep up with the demand of offering quality puppies at extremely affordable pricing. We could not fathom overpaying for our first Yorkshire Terrier either. Some customers still question our prices -- the culture of living in New Jersey, we get accustomed to overpaying.

In the early stages, we only sold small breeds such as Yorkies, Maltese Shih-Tzu and Boxers. The family decided that since we were expanding, it would be wise to offer additional breeds that are well known and requested for their temperament.

For the most part, I have three families that live in very close proximity to one another who breed for us. We have been affiliated with these families and we have a very close working relationship. These folks are so trusted; they are like my own family. I stay with them when I am kennel inspecting on a monthly basis, ensuring the health of the parents and pups alike, as well the overall cleanliness. There aren’t too many stores that can say they know where their puppies come from.

In 2008, we expanded to a larger facility, enabling us to continue providing great quality, reasonably priced puppies to even more valued customers.

Our puppies come with a one year warranty against congenital diseases; vaccinations and dewormings are always up-to-date. You will be able to register the puppy if it is a pure breed. We have excellent veterinarians that we can recommend that offer services at affordable prices as well.

Just a note... they have 15 different breeds of puppies that they sell. Sounds like they have more than a few nearby friends breeding for them.
