14. Any additional information you want to add: This girl's name is Layla. She is extremely smart, very playful (toy oriented), well socialized, and 90% pee pad trained. Personality wise she is very curious, very outgoing. She LOVES other dogs which is such a shame for us because after many failed attempts of trying to get our other dog to accept her, we have had to come to the unfortunate decision to rehome her. We (my girlfriend and I) are very heartbroken over this, but feel it is best to rehome her now that she is young. She has all of her shots, has no health problems (nor has ever had any). She was given to us as a gift from the in-laws and was purchased from a boutique in Brooklyn, New York. (Possibly a puppy mill, unfortunately, though luckily she has been healthy since day one). She is great with all types of people and kids, but for her own benefit we would prefer her to go to a home without any young children. Any questions may be posted here or PM'd. I knew this would be the best place to find her a loving home.

She is a sweetie. I've never heard of Dog Registry of America (DRA) :eek: Unfortunately,I do not think that you will be able to sell her here or anywhere else for the amount of money you are asking. Since she was a gift why don't you consider surrendering her to a reputable Yorkie Rescue? Please in the very least have her spayed before selling her to anyone. Good luck

I am willing to negotiate a price :) I have spent a lot of money on shots and the vet visits attached to them plus a lot of time potty training. If worst comes to worst I will definitely do what it takes to insure she is in a good place, even if it means a yorkie rescue.

If its the right person I will ship her but I need to do research first to find the safest and most comfortable way for her to travel.

I am willing to ship her if its for the right family. Of course I will have to do research in order to find the safest, most comfortable method of transportation for her first. I've never shipped a dog before.

Has she been fixed yet? I do see that you said she had her shots.

She's not fixed yet. I did not want to fix her until her first heat.

I agree, in that you really should have her spayed before you rehome her especially since you have no idea of her background as far as health & genetic history of her parents. You would not want her to get into the wrong hands & be used for nothing more then a baby maker.
I wish you luck finding her a Good home. Also, are you sure you gave her & your other dog enough time to get used to eachother ?

have you found a home for her yet?? i live in RI and am willing to drive if you are willing to negotiate a price.. i have been looking for a yorkie in the area for awhile now and i can assure you i would give her lots of love :o)

We almost found someone to give her to and then my girlfriend started crying and I felt all choked up and we realized we can't give her up just yet. We want to try for another two months to work something out but if it doesn't, I will come right back here and post. I would prefer to give her to a YT member also. Thank you guys for everything, especially JollieJean who was willing to give her a loving home. I will contact you strait away if at the end we can't resolve our issues.
