Well said, their is nothing sweeter than a Yorkie!! I can't wait to bring home another new baby to love. I just gotta figure out how to tell the older yorkie sisters that their will be a new baby in the house. hehe |

Really....that makes so much sense! I recently lost a precious yorkie and these 2 spent so much time looking for her and I think they were mourning. I want this transition to be as uneventful and smooth as can be expected. They are both seniors, one is 7 and the other is almost 10.I do know they both accept other little dogs in our house for visits or overnight stays but to sleep with us permanently...well I'm sure thats a different story. I will certainly do that though as it sounds like a great way to introduce the baby to our family. |

I worked with a Canine Behaviorist/Breeder/Exhibitor....learned a lot from her. She said the first thing you have to do is think like a dog....not attempt to make the dog human...... |
Really ....so when my yorkie passed away, what should I have done or said to the other 2 to make things easier for them. I cried every time and still do when my Mattie looks for Molly under the couch, in her bed etc. I cant even talk about it much to anyone never mind them. My Mattie still looks so sad..... |
