WANTED..puppy, possibly two siblings. looking for yorkie puppy. prefer black/tan.. parents btwn 4-6lbs...but if they have a good disposition honestly doesnt matter. the hard part? looking to spend under 1,000...because we are considering two (i dont want to completely break the bank!), siblings preferred. male and female. i know a good breeder cost money, i wish i could afford one but honestly cant... but if you can work with me on a price, i can promise that they will have good loving home. i live in NY...long island, queens area....willing to travel for the right puppy/right price. PM or email me at rescuebear19@aol.com thanks Jennifer |
Just wondering if you can't pay much for a yorkie why would you adopt 2? Just doubles your expenses for food, vet care, spay/neuter, grooming etc. Yorkies are not cheap to begin with, they need more care than most dogs. Plus if your pups end up getting sick or, god forbid, a bad congenital disease, how would you pay for it? Just think you need to do a little investigation of all that is involved before you get 2 lives that you are responsible for. Good Luck. |

If you look at her siggie, the OP already has two Yorkies. Instead of looking for two "bargain" puppies, why not just buy one from a good breeder? "Bargain" puppies can really rack up the vet bills and are often no bargain in the long run. |

To the OP: Advice: Make sure you carefully screen any offers you get. Even if they are from a YT member. Just because they are active here does not make them a good place to buy a pup from. My own observations: Then again I don't think you will find a pair of pups without "breaking the bank" from any reputable breeder... If you can't even afford one full price, I'm not sure how you are going to care for 2. |
Another example..... your comments are very broad and unfounded. What do you really know about people and their dogs? Maybe to some people it is more important to find a good home for their puppies than to "break the bank". I have had upwards of 25-30 puppies and they are all in great health, none of my personal animals live in a kennel, they all live in my house with me, in my bed for that matter. I feel i am better than a reputable breeder cause I know mine are not inbred, and I am not a puppy mill. My puppies are all born in my room and live with me until the day they find their new home. I keep contact with my owners and help them along the way especially if they are new Yorkie owners as I have had them now for over a decade. So really what do you know about individual breeders, just cause I dont demand $1000 bucks doenst make my puppies any worse than someone who does, I just dont breed Champions, I BREED PETS!!! For people who cant afford all the high priced "PROFESSIONALS" on here |

Edit: Decided against what I was going to say... |

Appears from other threads of the OP...that she's already found out what happens when you bargain shop for a Yorkie:rolleyes: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...uppy-sick.html |
See my advice WOULD have been useful, but I'm too late. I feel sorry for the OP. I will be sure to wish them well and say a prayer for their baby. Now I'm being personally attacked for trying to offer advice, so I hope this is worth it to some future reader!! :( |

Why do you feel you're being attacked? You were advertising puppies that are only 8 weeks old (per the message you sent me). I simply posted telling you politely that selling puppies less than 10 weeks old was against YT rules and now you're leaving me messages calling me nuts, saying that I said you were a bad person, and jumping to wild conclusions that I'm out to get you. What is your problem? :thumbdown |
