Looking for a Teapot in N. FL female Looking for a larger female in the North Florida area. Young adult or maybe a puppy that won't be tiny. Not for breeding purposes, spayed is great! I have three babies myself, looking for my brother who has a male - he is maybe around 14 pounds so he doesn't want a little one. Would like to adopt or rescue one in need, perhaps a retired breeder who needs some love. I'm in Panama City and he is in the Tallahassee area so if you are rehoming in the area please email me. Not looking for "free" he will pay an adoption fee and give excellent care. Thanks, Carol yorkiemommi@gmail.com |
Have you checked out Yorkie Haven Rescue? They have all sizes. |
He found a seven month old today, she is already 7 lbs so should work out great. He was so happy when he called, I can't wait to see her. He lost his lab Cassie about a year ago and was finally able to add this little girl to his household. I'm sure she will be great for him and "Buddy" and they will be great for her as well. He said she had never been outside before, trained to use a cat litter box for pottying.... previous owner was disabled and unable to keep her. But anyway he said just watching her run around the yard and her reactions to the leaves and Buddy was amazing. She is already asserting herself and not taking any lip from her big brother although she's about half his size for now. Will post a pic when he sends me one. Thanks for the emails. Carol |
Thanks for the reply manolos mom, we hadn't. Rescues are great just no Yorkie Rescues in our area. |
I have a male that is around 10 pounds. A wonderful boy with a great personality. You can PM me or email me at melissayorkie@yahoo.com for more information. |
Thanks Melissa for the offer, but it seems Buddy is to be in a one dog family. My brother adopted Tara a little 4 lber and they were great for about a week until he suddenly got aggressive with her when company came over, so she is now being spoiled rotten at my mom and dads house. She has a Cocker Spaniel brother, a Schnauzer sister as well as a kitty all for her playing pleasure. Buddy is a great dog but just not too tolerant of other animals, I was so hoping it would work out for my brother and Buddy but things worked out well for little Tara anyway. ( I swear mom and dad treat their dogs better than they did us kids :p ) |
