Also looking in NJ We've been on a long search for a yorkie. Thought we had some leads but turned out to be puppy mills or brokers and we've been warned against both. Looked at shelters which is very hit or miss. We'd like to locate a puppy now since we'll have people around home this summer to train. Would appreciate any leads in NJ or NY. Thanks! |
Have you checked the YTCA breeder referral page? Petfinder? YTNR (yorkierescue.com) |
We have checked Yorkie Rescue but the dogs are often a bit older than we're looking for. Will keep looking however. Thanks for the other leads. We'll follow up. |
Hi there I saw you were looking for a yorkie baby. I am an AKC small hobby yorkie breeder and I have some babies available if you are intersted. You are welcome to email me at Nikisyorkie2@aol.com or call me at 410-629-0801 |
Hi I have champion sired pups right now. We have 3 boys out of this litter. Meagan boy Prince is out of my MAGICAL LINES. Magic has his UKC Championship and has been awarded 10th Yorkshire Terrier with UKC for 2009 He is also almost finished with AKC Championship only one more major and he is done. These pups have been around people since they were born and love the touch of the human hand. If you need more info please email me @ mystarshine_98@yahoo.com. I have many champions in this lineage and one of these pups are being held back for show ring. Let me know if you need more info, here is picture of my Magic. Gail & the Wee Loves |
We are looking into those. Just found them through this forum. Thanks for your help! |

I volunteer with Burlington Animal Alliance (NJ) and we just got a two year old male Yorkie in. I was asked to foster, but just lost my mom a couple of weeks ago and I'm not ready. If you may be interested I could send you some information. You could apply to adopt him or apply as a foster home (Which we are in dyer need of) and see how it works out first. Elaine |

Up For sale is a Silky Terrier http://kona.kontera.com/javascript/l...rey_loader.gif with AKC Papers Date of birth is 07/14/09. Gizmo has all his shots and I have all his Vet Records. He has a Micro- Chipped just in case he gets lost or someone else claims that’s there dog you have proof. Gizmo is not fixed and the reason for that is I don’t believe in that. Gizmo comes with a playpen which is 36 X 36 His Crate which he sleeps in and his Bed which he lays in the living room to watch TV or relax he has plenty of toys. Gizmo is house broken and only goes on pee pads. Since Gizmo is a Teacup puppy and only weights 5 pounds I never took him outside felt he was to small so I’ve always keep him inside. He is very friendly with kids or people he loves to play and has tons of energy to run all around your home in seconds. He gets along with other Dogs being that I also own a pit-bull and they get along fine with no problems. I’m not sure about cats because I’ve never had him around one. |
3 Attachment(s) Sorry my home phone service is out of order at the moment due to widening of the road in front of my home. You can reach me at 443-250-0645 instead. I have some really nice babies available now and I will not have babies available again until winter time. |
Christmas Yorkie... I'm also in NJ and starting to look for a sister for Dakota. He's only 3lbs full-grown and I would like to find a sibling that will stay around the same size. By Christmas he will be nearly 2 years old. Figure that's a good time to start looking! Dakota is neutered - I have NO interest in breeding or champion lines (I don't need another million dollar baby!!!). I just want a healthy, happy baby. The breeder also puppy pad trained Dakota prior to me getting him - which I would be IMMENSELY grateful for if it was possible. I'm just no good at it! If anyone has a litter expected around September or knows of someone expecting a litter I would appreciate the info. Thanks! |
Adopted! Thank you *so* much to all the kind folks who responded to my posting about wanting to adopt a Yorkie in NJ. Happily, we were able to rescue a pet at the Pet Expo that took place at the Livingston Mall last Saturday. We got a cute little terrier/maltese mix who's about 5 months old. He had been left on the side of the road and looks like he needs some good nourishment, but he's a sweet boy! Thanks again for all your caring responses. |
How wonderful! I think its great you got a rescue. I'm sure thats going to be one lucky little guy! ;-) |
