14. Any additional information you want to add: Ripley is a great little guy. He is pee pad trained (I use washables and they will go home with him). He is crate trained, has his first two shots, preventative worming, tail and dews are done. He is a very smart boy and loves to play with is toys. He comes with a purse, bed, pee pads, food bowls, blanket and favorite toys. I can also include a 3 generation pedigree if you would like one. Any more questions feel free to call me. I don't think I will ship him because of his size, so if you live out of MI you will have to pick him up. And because of his size I would prefer a home that has experience with tiny pups.

Valentine has Swimmer Puppy Syndrome, too, doesn't he? I hope you find a very special home for this special little puppy.

He is adorable. But, because of his tiny size, maybe your original thought of keeping him would be best. Or "placed" without a fee in an approved home that is knowledgable on how to care for one this small. After all I don't think one would want to sell possible heartache.

You are a good researcher! I think people listing their pups should be honest about their issues, and consistent. I am the mom of a LS baby, and tho the breeder honestly didn't know, I wouldn't want any new puppy owner to go through the pain and financial stress that these special little ones can cause.

Problems, health issues can occur at anytime in any breeder's program. What makes a good breeder is how they handle these issues, should they occur. But, I would hope a breeder wouldn't knowingly pass on heartache to the new family.

Mardelin, you are the best, and may have just saved a potential, unaware owner a lot of heartache and money. Thanls so much for all the good you do.

I p.m.'d JudeAnn and offered Ripley/Valentine a home, if she is willing to place him, as you suggested, without a fee.

My husband and I are retired. I spent 35 years raising orphaned wildlife babies, and I am very well experienced in caring for very tiny animals. We are also fortunate to have a great Vet.

Our 1st Yorkie was a tiny, and she experienced health issues in the latter quarter of her 8th year, and was not expected to live to see her 9th birthday.
Not only did she see her 9th, she lived past her 13th.

If I had a puppy as tiny as this wee one, your home would be one I would seriously consider placing the pup in. One that is aware on how to care for a pup with an open fontanel, watch for hyperglycemia, any other problems a tiny might have. A wee one such as this, has high possibility of incurring vet bills. I wouldn't want to do that to anyone. In my words; I would gift a puppy such as this, or any puppy that hasn't reached 2 pounds by 16 weeks of age.

There is something inside me, that always has the desire to help the animals that need help. I consider it a precious gift. They need so much, and I have the time and love to give to them, what they need.

It is always nice to include all info on his health. He is so adorable I wouldn't even know something was wrong with him. 1,000 seems like alot to ask for a disabled pup.. I hope the lady above my post is able to take this baby in and give him a loving home :)
