I'm sure she will find another creative way to sell the dogs to some unsuspecting buyers! |

I have read this entire thread and I haven't seen anyone bully or gossip to the OP. But it is obvious that the OP is ignorant about what are good breeding practices and the placing of a special needs puppy is about. And it is also obvious that she is the nasty comment maker as well. This site is to educate and state the obvious when it comes to the best interest of Yorkies. |

It hurts the puppy and buyer when a puppy is sold with health issues and the buyer has no clue - not all people are versed in what is involved with these tiny dogs.....I hope things will work out for this little puppy. |
I knew i seen this pup before, user name and location have been changed several times :( He is such a cute pup, I sure hope she tells the new owner of his condion, this ad does not say anything about his health issues... ***very tiny akc yorkshire terrier pup*** in Casco, Michigan |

***tiny akc yorkshire terrier-female*** in Casco, Michigan Good to see someone has already registered another complaint. So much for her keeping them! How pathetic! |

I really don't understand how she can advertise this puppy without stating the potential health issues. I really don't, who does that? It's just wrong. Trying to get $900 for a puppy with potential problems is just wrong. Really sad! :( |

So true, I keep saying that I'm going give up trying, it's hard and frustrating! Fortunately there are so many good people and stories here! |
You know the heart breaking part about this. She only kept the mom around for breeding not love. So easy for her to "pawn" her off to her sister as she previously claimed then shazzam shes selling her. I can't even fathom the heart break of passing off a pet to someone else when they are no longer needed. I had read her previous post about falling in love with this little guy, how quick she was to turn around and put a price tag on him. My only hope is that someone is able to provide this little guy a safe haven. But in my heart of hearts I know the outcome may very well be a sad turn of events. |
Well it looks like she has her ads back up on Ebay: Adorable Tiny AKC Yorkie Pup-13 weeks-In Time for Mothers Day! | Emmett | eBay Classifieds (Kijiji) | 3297426 ***Tiny AKC Female Yorkshire Terrier*** | Emmett | eBay Classifieds (Kijiji) | 3298660 |

Is there anything at this stage that can be done to keep her from lying about the health of this little guy? Can an ad be run in conjunction about this small dog? I understand she will not do it, but if someone ran an ad at the same site she was mentioning that a dog for sale has health problems and to vet check first.... |

Unbelievable!!! Now she posts about how people are flagging her ads: ***very tiny akc yorkshire terrier pup*** in Emmett, Michigan |

I agree. This is such a good example of why you should never buy a puppy based upon an ad or website alone. |

Who is she? Is this the same person that posted looking for help with a yorkie that had hydrocephalus? After all the heartache she's been through, why wouldn't she at least say there were issues? I don't know the laws. Can you post something about someone trying to sell a sick dog or can it only be after the fact? |

I don't know the if YT rules state health criteria needs to be identified before placing an ad. Will check on MI lemon laws, if any. |

I just checked....no puppy lemon laws in Michigan so it's buyer beware. He also has Swimmer Puppy Syndrome. Just a month ago she said the vet told her he only had a 60-70% chance of a good recovery. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...mers-legs.html |
Hoobly, Kijiji, Craigslist are all HORRIBLE places to look for a pet. I've said this before and I will say it again. Hoobly, Kijiji, Craigslist are all HORRIBLE places to look for a pet. Going to places like these will bring nothing expect this type of breeder. Buyer beware! :thumbdown I wish that we had better rules that address some of these breeders that are members here. If you were selling clothes, shampoo, brushes, or any other items for sale the sellers have pretty strict rules that need to be followed and if there are complaints they are banned from selling. It should be the same for members that are selling living creatures. :animal-pa |
I read her ad. I think I take things for granted. Maybe this is why the dog world is so small. Even if that puppy didn't have those health issues, he's too small to be sold at this size as a pet. He's not very healthy. If she needs money, just say so. People will help people that are down and out. These stories get to me. Why are they preying on the weak? Using their little tiny helpless bodies that didn't ask to be brought into this world? People can have dogs neutered for free in every state. If someone doesn't think they can, they're making excuses for it. I'm sure that they can have spays too if they'll just work at it. But neuter for sure. There are services out there. People are just too lazy. I'm so tired of helpless animals suffering. This is another one that should never have happened. Save this story for when people want to know about why a limited contract It's water under the bridge now. But we all know you don't breed a 3 1/2 lbs bitch. |
