He is APR registered, UTD on all health and shots and weighs 3.5 lbs. He is a great pet, loves to play and is exce;llent with kids. Will ship but would prefer a pick up if you are in driving distance. Here is a link to view a picture of him. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...ypics77/j4.jpg <<<<<<B>>>>>> I really am dissapointd to have to do this but I have decided to put my male Biewer (Prince)) I recently got for sale. I am workin with someone whoi is helpling me get a cute little female Biewer for a good affordable price and she is about 5.5lbs. Well the lady who I purchased Prince from, a lady in OK, told me he was only 7lbs and so after talking with my friend we decided it would work out great to have a pair of Biewers. I was so excited but when Prince arrived my vet weighed him and he is almost 9lbs. I have tried to call the lady who I got him from but she doesn't answer. I think she knows what she did and is avoiding me --- some people are just unkind. Any ways before I purchased him I made sure he was live shunt tested and Brusolossis tested and he is in excellent health. He UTD on all health and is a great guy. He is very playful and would make an excellnt pet and a breeder if you had a proper sized female. I do not want to run the risk of hurting my little girl or having to have a c-section if she has a litter. I don't want anyone to think I just got him for breeding. He is a great dog expesive as pet is and as a hobby breeder starting out I can't do that now. I plan to find a smaller male close to my girls size so he is available. He has German papers and right now has a short hairstyle (Texas and OK have HOT summers) I am asking $3000 OR will consider a trade. Here is a link to Pics of him. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...cs77/b-p-4.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...cs77/b-p-3.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...cs77/b-p-2.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...cs77/b-p-1.jpg |
Awww He sure is cute. |
Biewer I am sorry the breeder was so dishonest. You are wise to sell him. His ears are down and he is oversized..quite frankly I think you have a small claims lawsuit if you asked to purchase a stud and the breeder sent this male. I am sure he will be a wonderful pet, but that is not what you asked to buy, is it? |
They are both very cute! |
OMG, why is he cut so short? Poor guy looks like he has been skinned. He is a big boy.....but has nice coloring. |
I have been blessed with wonderful Biewers....Or at least I think so. I am so sorry you ran across a dishonest person when you purchase your male. But they are out there unfortunately.. :( If it was a 12 week old pup that would be one thing him growing to that size, but sell you an adult under false pretenses is another thing. I wish you luck finding him a good pet home... :p |
There's something off in this dog's parentage I'm not sure how familiar you might be with the Dachshund coat color of "piebald" but it is very clear from the overall look, size and color that this dog has some dachshund in it. If you haven't taken some sort of action against the person whom sold this dog to you I really would suggest it, if nothing else please warn others from dealing with them. |
i dont know much about biewers but i have seen pictures and he doesnt look like any picture i have seen  are you sure he is purebred? the breeder was lieing about his size could she be lieing about his breed as well? Im not ragging on him, because i think he is absolutly adorable, but i think you would be better off going after the breeder... he is not what was agreed upon, and if he is a "mixed breed" then you wouldnt want to sell someone a mix for $3000 would you? I dunno, this is just my opinion, maybe it is the short haircut that is throwing me off a bit  At any rate, i think you should get youre money back from the breeder, how much did you pay for him???? |
wish i could have him but im in the uk and he would have to go through quarentine for 3 months before he could come to me and thats wrong, id love a beiwer they dont breed them over here yet wendy and rosie :rose: :yorkiesar |
biewer Thank you all for your info and kind words. He are some things that i have checked out on him. 1. he is a 100% biewer. I have papers from the vet verifying it. Also I ave emailed the lady she bought him from in Germany ( Her name is stephanie)and verified it that way. And the friend of mine i got my female from also contacted the person she got hers from in Germany and asked about Stephanie and we got a lot of good reports. I think he's just the "big boy" of the group. ALSO here is a pic of him with his hair...... this might help a lot http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...cs77/b-p-5.jpg 2. I did know his ears were down when buying him. My vet said i could have something done to them and they would be up but since I wasn't planning on showing him, I didn't think it would be necessary. But if someone does decide to get hima nad would like his ears up, I would take care of it. 3. As for a lawsuit... I'm in texas and she is in OK.. so it would be somewhat difficult.... And I didn't get a piece of paper actually stating his weight in the sale.... I talked to her on the phone for about 3wks so most of it was verbal. I have a receipt and his medical papers and his German registry.... BTW I also verified his german registry .... so yeah.... I am willing to work with someone who is interested in getting him |
Poor baby ...I just hope you find him a forever home...sounds like he's been doing some travelling and I bet he just wants someone to love him ....Good luck with him and I hope you find someone soon |
thanks for not taking offense at my questions (some people get a little defensive if you ask questions like that) but now that i see him with hair i am able to tell..... i cant believe hair makes that much of a differnce ! He still think he is adorable :p |
Have to vent!! What a sweet faced little fella. I see SOO many red flags when you purchased this guy. First, why was someone from OK selling him..spells BROKER to me!! Does this persons first name start with 'T'? He should not have been sold for breeding period, his ears are down and that more than likely is hereditary just as it is in Yorkies. This breed is too new to be compromising on looks at this point. He will make a SUPER pet I'm sure! I have a problem with him being registered with the APR. that's means NOTHING IMHO. This is not directed at anyone, just airing out my feelings on how this beautiful breed is not getting a fair shot coming into the US. Too many like this 'thing' in OK see $$ signs and that's all they care about! I hope you can find him a forever home. He needs one and enough of this traveling already, he's probably soo confused! No problem! I know if you really love you animals you just want what is best for them and also know as much about them as possible. There might have been others wondering the same thing so I just wanted everyone here to know the facts |
Small world, I saw his pic on a site for sale. I am in Beaumont and saw him on SET.com. He is a cutie and even cuter with his hair longer. Hope you find him a great home. There aren't to many around here. |
