Any additional information you want to add: Sadie is a loving, active Yorkie who gets along with everyone except my other female Morkie, whom she viciously attacks. She does well with my males, but would also be happy as an only dog. Very alpha female. Sadie is crate trained and fully housetrained to potty outside. She is spayed. I am sick over rehoming her but my Morkie has been injured and she was here first. Sadie has never met a person she doesn't like and really is so sweet except with Bella. I don't know how to resize pictures. I can email pictures. |

She's a cutie. You live right by my brother's house! He lived in Nyack but just moved 5 min away! Good luck rehoming her!:) |
Thank you for your post! I was feeling a little lonely out there with total silence from the rest of the community. We are going to have a trainer come next week and give that a try or my daughter in Brooklyn is thinking about taking her. |
Oh Donna, I'm so sorry things haven't gotten better. Did you contact the trainer I suggested to you? I hope and pray Miss Sadie will learn to behave herself with guidance. I feel so bad for you and her. Hugs, |
Hello, I am located a little less than an hour from Nyack. I presently own a 16 weeks old male yorkie. I would love to take her! I do recall you saying that she does well with your males? If it does not work out and your daughter does not take her you can contact me. Is she UTD on shots, and does she get along with children? I hope the trainer can help you! Best of Luck :) Lauren :) |

It's been rough, especially on poor Bella who hides under the table when I come home from work. I did contact that trainer and it turns out I know her. She helped me with training Sadie when she was a tiny puppy. I am going to try that. Miss you and Mountainview! |

I so hope the trainer can help and things turn around so you can keep her. It has to be so hard to think about letting her go to a new home. I will keep you and her in my prayers. Please keep us posted. |
Ahhh... How are things going? Any better :( |
The trainer is coming on Friday. We keep a watchful eye and when anyone comes in, I pick up Sadie. Bella doesn't greet us at the door anymore. She cowers under a chair and I feel bad about that. I know she is unhappy and I feel bad. I wonder how hard this behavior will be to remedy. |
Update on Sadie We are keeping our Sadie, couldn't live without her. She spent a couple of weeks visiting my daughter in NYC and we brought her home on Sunday. She seems much more mellow and is so happy to be here. Right now she is giving Bella kisses. I know the alpha thing with her attacking Bella can start up again, but we are committed to getting a trainer to help us. We all missed Sadie so much, she is part of our family and her absence left a giant hole in our hearts. |
Glad to hear that! Everything will work out....it just takes time! :) |
Donna I'm so happy for you that things are working out. I asked Dottie if you called her and she said yes so I had high hopes you would somehow make it work. Sadie be a good girl, you hear me:p I miss seeing you around the mountain and so does Buddy. |
