Did Elmo find his new home?

I am PRAYERFUL everything is going to go A-OKAY and he will be here with us next week. BUT- today, it is 20 degrees and snow/ice here in Texas! Craziness! My little Blakers is hiding under his blanket taking a nap. :-) I can't wait until he is here with us but I know Karen is going to miss him tons.

I hope Elmo has found his home. This is really a cold winter, especially at night. Do we have an update?

Elmo has a new mom, and a new name. :D

We were waiting until his health check and bile acid test came back normal before making it official. And they have. :yay_jump: He will be in his new Mommy's arms this Friday!! :woof:

I will leave it up to his new mom to share more info if she chooses to. Just wanted to let everyone know that Elmo has a great family!!

Thank you for posting Karen! I was dying to share the fantabulous news. :D

New mommy, new daddy, new brother (Blake, lol), new aunt, new grandma, and a million others are OVER THE MOON with excitement and cannot wait for him to arrive. We are SO blessed that we found you and found him. Maddox Rylee is going to be the apple of our OTHER eye since Blakey is already the apple of one. They sound like they are kindred spirits from our many conversations and I cannot wait for him to have a playmate. Even our vet office is dying with anticipation and the girls were trying to switch shifts so they could be the ones working on Saturday. :-) I will be updating photos of Maddox as he grows up and keep everyone informed on how he is doing. As I told Karen, I am long-time lurker on Yorkie Talk and never posted until I found Elmo....but this forum has been a God-send for us as we raised our little Blake.

P.S. If you were wondering HOW I know that Blake is so excited....he hasn't stopped barking since about 3:30 this afternoon....and there is no apparent reason for it....so I am ASSUMING he is excited about baby brother. ;):);)

Elmo will now be Maddox Rylee and new mommy, new daddy, new brother (Blake, LOL), new aunt, new grandma, and about a million others are over the moon with excitement. My boss and best friend are even trying to throw me a "new baby shower" next weekend! I guess I should have waited before ordering all of those new clothes, the blankets, the just about everything I could find online in the last week. ;)

We cannot wait to hold him in our arms but we know that Karen is going to miss this little guy a TON. She has been so awesome and we are SO blessed to have found not only Maddox but also her. XOXOXOXO Karen- you are the best.
