Biewer Boy wanted Hello all - I am looking to add a Biewer boy to my family to first and foremost be a pet, but also to be a boyfriend for my new Biewer girl. (No rush - she just turned 7 weeks old yesterday!) I am looking for a boy that will be in the 4-5 lb range and a baby doll face would be most pleasing, but not the most important aspect. Great bloodlines are a must and healthy is no question. I will not post how much I am willing to spend, because I just don't know yet. I know the price ranges and am prepared to pay. For those who could be interested, I have a small Parquins boy (yorkie) that I am willing to do a partial trade for. But this is not absolutely necessary. If you have pups available, please let me know. |
No offense but how can you possibly know a 7 week old puppy will be breed worthy? |
I don't - I am still doing my research, and if my girl doesn't pass all her testing of course she will not be bred. The parents both are stunning which I why I put my deposit on her. She is just a prospect. The sire is an International multi-title Champion so I know there are excellent lines there. I wouldn't dream of tainting the breed if I knew her quality wasn't exceptional, and like I said before - if when she grows up is not worthy of producing babies, I will not go further with her. She'll be loved just the same by my family and that will be that. |
Maybe you should wait for your girl to arrive home and be shown in the show ring. And assessed by the judges and yourself. Since most females are bred on the 2nd heat and usually are about 18 months old when bred, you should have plenty of time to look for a male with the best pedigree for your girl. Also, you should have plenty of stud options to not have to own your own stud at this young of an age....a male is not selective when their are females in heat, whether they are yorkies or biewers. |
