two biewer boys 2 Attachment(s) I can't even believe I'm posting this thread :( I have only had these boys a short while. I originally planned on rehoming the 2nd boy anyway, but my husband was laid off last night and now we don't even know what to do. I feel that our only option is to sell the both of them. If we do have to relocate we will be staying with my inlaws and they are reluctant to even allow my original yorkie girl to stay with us. 1. Your name - Elyse Hubert 2. Your city, state: Salt Lake, UT 3. Your phone number: (phones shut off this morning, please email or PM me) 4. Your email address: shacrumble@hotmail.com 5. Yorkie(s) For Sale: Bobo and Zeke 6. Birthdate of Yorkie(s): Oct 31, 2008 7. Age of Yorkie(s): 10 months (almost!) 8. Weight of Yorkie(s) parents: Mom- 6 pounds. Dad- 5 pounds. 9. Current weight of Yorkie(s) for sale: Bobo is just over 5 pounds. Zeke is 7 pounds. They are done growing 10. Registration if any (AKC, etc): no papers. The breeder said that the mother was registered AKC as a parti and the dad was registered with a german biewer registy, so of course these two boys weren't able to be registered with AKC. 11. Price: $750 for Bobo, $450 for Zeke 12. When puppies will be ready to be taken home: now! 13. Do you ship your Yorkies: No shipping but I will personally deliver by car if you live anywhere in the west.. I get 40 mpg so gas isn't that big a deal if I can sell these little guys. 14. Any additional information you want to add: They are not neutered, they are housebroken and do terrific with children and other dogs. Both of them are so friendly and well-behaved. Bobo has the white coloring, and Zeke is non standard for biewer coloring (he just looks like a regular yorkie) and he is so cute. They need a bath, so I apologize for the less-than quality grooming job in the pics! PM me for more pics and I will bathe them and send better pics tonight. Bobo has a silkier coat, and Zeke has more of a cottony coat. |
this breaks my heart. i cant imagine how bad your heart is breaking. they are too cute! i wish i lived closer to you. =( |
Oh they are precious!!!! I wish I lived closer. I am so sorry you have to rehome them. |
sorry to hear about your difficult times...best of luck finding your lil boys great homes.. |
I can only imagine your pain! I could never find the strength to ever part myself from my babies! I wish you much luck in re-homing your babies. You re in my prayers! |
So sorry to hear of your situation, what about returning them to the breeder?? |
Thank you, unfortunately returning them to the breeder is not an option for me. In fact that's why I ended up with both boys instead of one, like I had originally planned. It appeared to be a pretty bad situation for them. Also, I meant to put Bobo's price at 650- oops! |
Roxie - I am very sorry to hear about what you're going through. My husband lost his job last May and just now found a job. We too had to move in with the InLaws. Good luck and God will help you through it. I will keep you in my prayers. |
Bobo and Zeke are just adorable. I hope that you are able to find new homes soon. I also hope that your financial situation looks better soon as well. |
Oh how sad. I hope they find their forever homes. Just so you are aware your breeder was less than honest with you regarding the dam's coloring or parentage. If they had bred a biewer to a parti colored yorkie...you would not get a standard colored puppy from the pairing. It is impossible. Both only have a recessive gene to offer. The standard colored dog is considered a yorkie...not a biewer with un-standard coloring. Actually neither would be considered a biewer...a biewer mix perhaps, but a true biewer's lineage on both sides can be traced back to German ancestors. |
I need to correct something and I can't edit. It is possible to get biewer puppies using a breeding pair which consists of a biewer and a splitter (a carrier) also. This doesn't seem to be the case here either....as your breeder said the mother was a parti yorkie. A splitter which carries the gene is colored like a yorkie...and your previous posts state you saw the parents and both were biewers. It gets a bit confusing... |
Thank you for that clarification. I don't know much about yorkie & biewer genetics and such, but from what you said, it does seem that the breeder lied about who the dam was.. that could also explain why she met me in a parking lot! :thumbdown In any case, the boys are very healthy and sweet, and my offer to deliver out of state free of charge still stands.. |
I am so sorry to hear about your sad situation. Can someone foster them for you while you get back on track? |
I'm so sorry. They are both handsome boys. Do you think it would be possible if any from YT was close to you to take them in for awhile until everything gets worked out? If I was able I would love one of them - I want a biewer boy so bad! Best of luck to you and lots of prayers are being sent your way. Please keep everyone updated. |
Is Bobo still available? |
