She is so beautiful, I would love to have a little girly girl. My Addison is 100% tom boy! I know you will find the perfect home for her, wish it were my home:p. |
I cannot believe she is still available... |
Baby has a new home... I wanted to thank you Jim for the visit and welcoming me into your home and to say that I love baby already. She has opened up so much to me since we left your home today with her and shes doing great..Her and little lexi are like shadows they are following each other around and have had no aggresion or even one bark or growl at each other.. I will call you tommorow and give you a update on how the night goes away from you and in her new home..thanks so much again for baby shes a delight and so much more beautiful in person than the pics make her appear.. |

Awww, a happy ending! :) |
update Baby is still doing great.. She is being a fercious little thing and that bark is almost to laugh at..Jim knows what I mean. I stayed at home today from work with baby and we had lots more bonding time. My brother came by to visit and you would think she were a pit bull she was so protective of me..LOL at 2.5 lbs and my brother being 230 he just laughed at her..As for her and Lexi they are best friends and I think lexi is telling her what a push over I am..LOL I will be getting pics soon when baby is a little more comfortable..Shes still scared of alot of things and likes to be a lapbaby..But shes progressing nicely with getting aquainted with new people and new things...The vacume is her worst enemy at this time and she wasnt to accustomed to seeing new people but around here we have lots of going and coming so shes adapting nicely so far at her own pace. Shes being feed with me over watching her alot i think she likes it that way,,lexi hasnt been jealous at all and thinks shes just the big sister, although they are the same in height and length the only difference in their size is that lexi is thicker than baby but size wise they are exackly the same...They look great together and they are adorable apart..This baby girl has stolen my heart just like lexi did when i got her no more looking for a home for her...Pics coming soon... |

Niyah loves me a lot and is on my lap a lot but I also give her independence too because I don't want her ever get over protective of me even though she has never growled or snapped at anyone. Heck, she doesn't even bark unless she is barking at the cat to play with her. That is the only time I have ever heard her bark. She is a great girl. My boyfriend even said that Niyah came from a really good home before I got her. Because of her great personality. I guess I can say I am fortunate to be one of the many that have a well behaved Yorkie. |

Cindy, I'm so happy to hear that you all are doing so well together. I really appreciate the update because, frankly, I've had a little separation anxiety since she's been gone. I know she's in a wonderful home but, well...you know what I mean. She is so dainty and precious that I can't help but worry for her just like I did when she was here. I've resisted the urge to call you so you can have some bonding time with her and it sounds like you all are doing wonderfully. It shouldn't take long for Baby to get used to all your regular visitors. I don't think she'll become any less a lap baby, though, as a warm lap is just about her favorite thing. As for the vacuum, she really hasn't been around one much since we only have one room carpeted and she was never in there while we vacuumed. mnewco, I think you are mis-reading Cindy's post. Baby is a very spirited little girl but is very sweet and is not aggressive at all. I think it's a good sign that she has bonded with Cindy that she barks at what to her are strangers. To me, it isn't the sign of a problem dog. She is in a new environment and is still adjusting. She did come from a very good home where she was much loved and is now in a wonderful home where she will continue to be loved. How you can see so many problems from a positive post from her new Mom is beyond me. Cindy, I'll be calling in a few days to just chat for a while. I'm looking forward to hearing all about how things are going. Jim |
Awww, how great to read updates :)! She sounds like such a character, and she's such a cutie. She kinda sounds like my Marcel - who is 3lbs, but sometimes thinks he is a great dane :p. Love seeing a yorkie go from such a great breeder to such a great home. Congrats to all of you! |
Update again... I think maybe my post was miss worded ..but way no problem..As for baby being protective i guess I should explain my brother and not baby...LOl even lexi whose been around him all her life does him the same way..he likes to play around with the babies and doesnt realize that baby hardly knows him or that lexi hardly likes him even though he loves them..lexi still barks when he comes close to me and now baby does too..I have had many people come and go as I have a loud family who loves to visit along with friends too..baby has not barked at any one else and lexi doesnt either...lexi never meets a stranger and although baby is new and came from a home where she wasnt as exposed to strangers as she is here shes doing great learning to like new people..My brother on the other hand is quite a character who thinks everything 2 or 4 legged should lavish him therefor the attutide lexi and baby are picking up on..He adores them both they just like to bark at him and show their mommy is theirs i guess..As for great personalities I think Lexi has the best personality any animal I have ever met has and Baby also has a great personality she is not as used to my home yet or all our ways but she has come alot futher than I had originally thought she would in this little amount of time..Jim knows what I am talking about she wasnt as warm to me at first but with time the day I meet her and more time that we have spent together she has blossomed into my other half of my heart..lexi of course being the other side..Things are taking slowly with baby due to her newness here but shes coming along wonderfully..Thanks Jim for everything...cindy |

Cindy, I don't think you mis-worded your post at all. I understood you and I know for sure of a couple other folks that did, too. No need to explain yourself. Don't be surprised if I call you to pop in for a visit. My son lives in north Alabama and I'd love to stop by on my way to visit him and his family. |
