Yes that helps alot, i'm glad you guys told me. and that the fact that i was misinformed kida makes me sad. so what are your sugestion, should i lower the price and how do i change the heading from parti yorkie to parti gene carrier yorkie on here.

mary, what you need to do is send apm to admin and ask them to close this thread for you. it has to be a pm not just a post here. THEN, open a new one and yes, the pup needs to be listed a lot lower than what this one is.

Depending on your location, gene carrier males, run anywhere from 700 with limited registration to 1500 full registration with some lower and some higher prices, depending on the quality of the pup.

You say that he is a carrier and not a parti...are you certain that he even carries the parti gene? You also said that his mommy has a lot of white (I did not see this,though). Does she come from parti lines? I guess I am lost as to why you are certain that he carries the piebald gene at all.

I agree with Sue on the pricing, but I would never advertise a puppy as a parti or parti carrier unless I was certain that they are. Even if I had two parents that were both carriers and they produced a puppy with a lot of white, I would never say that this baby was a carrier...I might say, there is a great possibility, but not 100%.

Ok, I rambled...hope I made sense. I am just confused as to how you are so certain that he is a carrier. By the way, he is cute but doesn't look like any parti carrier that I have ever seen. :confused:

With as loudly as this pup is marked (loud for even a carrier) and the OP's description of the dam "mother is Gold with white marking white all up under her chest, her mouth, and her two back feet" who also seems to be loudly marked, this pup has a parti gene or some sort of spotting gene. This pup doesn't have a small spot on his chest and some white on his toes that's sometime seen in traditional yorkies who are not carriers. He has white on his face, pink and white nose, white on top of his head and white on feet and chest (and that's only what I can see in the photo).

Sue, I was just saying that I, personally, have never seen a carrier with that much white.

thank you all for your help, i will do just that. i will have to take more pics of the mom to show you all her markings. and a lot of other breeders also said that they have not seen a parti carrier like him either and thats why they told me he was a parti colored yorkshire terrier. but i sent them a copy of the mother pedigree just to be sure and that i did not make a mistake by false Advertising are anything and they traced it and they told me that the mother was a gene carrier and he a parti. but i will Pm to get this deleted and put up a new one.

Attached is a photo of my Smiley as a pup. He also had a small white spot on his back in addition to his white muzzel, big fat blaze that went up to his chin and 4 white tipped toes. His sire is a parti, mom is a traditional.
