Any additional information you want to add: I love my dog with all my heart I adopted her from the SPCAA on 3-13-09 and have loved her from that moment on she is fully potty trained doesn't bark and is extremely well behaved. She is a mixed Yorkie. She is Microchipped and has all her shots. She has no lameness and has a clean bill of health, she is allergic to fish. She IS SPAYED. She is a wonderful dog for anyone, I can not keep her due to my small children who are too rough on her. She does not growl, bark, or defend herself in anyway. I am selling her for her own safety, and only asking for compensation for adoption fees and related costs. I can provide you with all of her own things including carrier. She comes with all papers I have for her and will transfer her microchip to you (24PetWatch) I prefer dealing in e-mails at first and then phone. If you want to get ahold of me immediatly please txt my phone and I will call you back ASAP. If you have any additional questions feel free to message me here or on my email. She is so pretty and I'm SO sorry that you're having to do this. Best of luck to you and I'll have you in my prayers. |
Update! Im sorry I dont know how to take down my post so I figured I would just respond here. After much discussion with my boyfriend and family we have decided to keep Liloh. Instead of punishing ourselves and our dog we are going to spend more time training my kids. What a concept huh. Its kinda hard for me though for I was always raised with kids and am not quite sure what I am doing wrong with my own children. My 8 year old has promised to make sure to help protect our furry bundle and my 4 year old, well Im still trying to figure out how to train her. If anyone has any ideas to help me with this undertaking or any advice I would love to hear it. Thank you so much. PS We have some close friends who have offered to take care of her if it doesnt get any better. |
You having trouble getting your children under control? I would say be Alpha to them. They need to respect you and know what you say is what they do. My goodness they are so young to rule the roost. I hope you get yourself together and realize that your are the boss and not them. I wouldn't take squat from my kids. Give them an inch and they take over. Never hit but rules are not made to be broken. The problem I see many times is parents try and be their children's best friend and not their parents. There is a big difference. Good luck to you. |
LOL ok so maybe I didn't explain it very well. My children are very well behaved until it comes to my dog. I was always raised around pets and so I thought it would be easier to teach my kids about dogs then it is. Sorry about the misscommunitcation. :) |
I am so glad you have decided to keep her. Good luck to you! |

Oh that's good. LOL My neighbor's pup, cockerpoo, just broke it's foot, her son pushed him off the bed. Children just have to be taught that a puppy can get hurt just like they can and have to learn to be gentle and loving with their puppy. Good luck Mom, get your point across to them so you can all live happily every after. |
Aww, well she's cute. Glad you decided to keep her. It just takes a little time teaching kiddos to be gentle with our pups but they soon catch on. |
Glad to hear! It will be worth it in the end! Good luck:) |
Aww she looks exactly like my LUCY. We have small children too and I tell ya,you just always have to be supervising them at all times with the animals if they don't know how to behave around them. It is a lot of work in the beginning but they get it. Lucy is one of my kids so I want to make sure she too would not be harmed. My girls learned early on to always be gentle and treat the animals with respect. I have always told them if they want nice animals then you have to be nice back and remind them how much we love her etc etc....I dunno, that is always what has worked for us?? but I realize every family/kids and situation is different. GOod luck to you and also I commend you for even taking this step of being open to finding her a home if things don't work out or you just can't take anymore. Not every family is suited for a small dog etc....thank goodness so many adore Yorkies! Good luck!:D |
Your pup is adorable! I'm glad you are working on keeping her. Maybe you could get a large crate for the 4 year old? (This is a joke) I just couldn't resist! |
