16 month old Yorkie Male 2 Attachment(s) Yes, its Diesel. When we got our Golden for Ethan to be his therapy dog, a couple of unfortunate issues came up. First one is that Diesel DOES NOT like Sunny, I think he is intimidated by his size. Second, we exceeded how many dogs we can have, which isn't too big of a deal except the neighbor is starting to make a big issue out of it, and since Diesel is the only one that barks at the neighbor, we had to make the decision that it would be him. Now, I did look into getting a kennel license, but in my county you have to have at least 10 acres to have one, and I explained my sons condition to the township, and they have NO give at all on this matter. 1. aww he is a cutie.. sorry about the circumstances but hope you get him a nice home  |
Can I make a suggestion? He is "intact" so it may be a good idea to have him neutered before you rehome him.......... I would hate for him to end up in a dreadful puppymill. That would be so sad....... he is such a cutie! |

ladies, you need to remember that there are some very decent breeders that do come on here looking for breeding dogs and there are some decent breeders that sell intact pups at times in spite of a few people that say ethical breeders would never do this, depending on who the buyer is and also the puppy. Every intact dog tjhat is sold does not end up in a puppymill. yes, there are a lot of dogs to be rescued but I am seeing so many of these threads where someone , usually someone that rescues, gets on the thread and starts the spay neuter talk. this is after all a for sale forum. the rescue forum is over there_________. don't mean to be mean or rude or anything. I am not like that but felt I needed to get this off my chest because it is happening every time someone posts a for sale ad and that is just plain wrong. i think admin should put in the rules here the same as in the featured breeder section that unless you are interested in buying the puppy, don't post. to the OP, good luck selling your boy. |

Well I know by posting this that I have put myself in the hot seat so to speak but lately it seems like every time any dog, male or female, is posted on here for sale, the same thing happens and it is usually the same two or three rescue people. I have seen war break out here just because someone is trying to sell a dog that is intact. This is why most of the old established breeders don't even sell puppies on here anymore. it is usally the newbies that post the for sale ads. the rest of us have learned better. I have set back and just read and watched but today felt I had to speak up. |

I don't think that I am one of those "rescue" people that you are referring to, but I didn't know that Diesel was part of an established line/breeding program. He is a handsome guy!! (I guess I am not on YT enough... ). I know that there are some very good breeders here....... and also some that are new to the Yorkie world and just "want to have puppies" and make some $$. (Like you said.... it is mostly newbies that look at the "for sale" threads! ) Seeing an AKC male for $700.00 could attract the wrong breeder. Sorry to offend if I have....... |
I guess I should point out that I did put on here that I do not prefer to ship, but I could make exception for a reputable breeder on here or someone I know here. I am exceptionally picky about where he goes, and have had a ton of emails from people locally about him. I know that there is never 100% chance that your dog wont end up in a mill, but I will do all that is in my power to make sure he doesnt. On top of that it should be noted that he is to come back to me if things don't work out for whomever he goes to. I appreciate the concern about him not being neutered, but I am not ignorant to what kind of people are out there :) |
