Looking for a yorkie near Ohio
 
My boy Roman has brought my household so much joy over these past 2 years. We feel it's time to get him a playmate. The new pup would actually be a gift for my mom. She wants a yorkie of her own so badly!

Im in Columbus, OH so the puppies would need to be somewhere close, i do not want to have to ship the puppy. Sex doesnt matter. My boy is neutered, so i dont plan on breeding or anything like that. I would want the new yorkie to be around the same size as Roman (6-ish lbs). Roman is very well socialized and frequently attends Doggie Day Camp at my work so the new puppy should also be of good temperment and socialized. My dad said he only wants to spend upto $600. I tried to tell him we got lucky getting my boy at that price...but parents So around $600 is what we're aiming for. Also i do need the dog to be registered, as my dad has severe allergies! I need to know what im actually getting.

Thanks for the link. Her website has tons of good info. Her yorkies sure are beautiful! So is Layla. Do you know how much her yorkies typically cost? Not to sound all about the money...because im not, my dad is lol.

usually between $800 and $1200. Her dogs are a really nice size too- Layla is 6 lbs.

I have 2 males that are a little over 2 weeks old right now 5/1. They will be in the 4lb range and will be $800. They are AKC reg, will be up to date on shots, dewormed, dew claws removed, tail bobbed and will come with a 1 year congential health guarantee. I have several YTers who own my babies and can give references.

Thanks for you recommendations, but my dad's pretty set on $600. Anyone else have any pups or can recommend a breeder?

that's gonna be a tough price to find- you might want to look at rescues- they usually have both puppies and older dogs- the adoption fee tends to be around 300.

Yea i know we might have to do a lot of searching and wait a while to find the right puppy for us. We've got a great dog now for that price (the lady i bought him from just isnt planning any litters right now). So i know we will find something eventually. I dont feel adoption would be the best option for us because with my dad's alleriges we need to be 100% sure of what the puppy is.

that's understandable- although many people are having to surrender AKC registered dogs because they are no longer able to afford them. I'm sure if you are patient- the right dog will come into your life :)

That's where I got my precious Frankie just over a week ago. Cindy is wonderful and produces well adjusted, beautiful babies. I hope she continues breeding because I know I couldn't do better than go back to her again for my next!!!

My Yumi Yasha is also from Cindy too! ( I PMed you asking about your experience with Cindy around this time last year) Cindy was very nice and all her Yorkies were just so adorable in person!

Thanks for everyone's help and messages. We have found our puppy. We are rescuing her from Safe Haven Rescue. She was rescued from a puppymill along with 2 sisters. Shes so cute! She 14 weeks old and her name is Saffron, but my mom may want to change that once we tell her shes getting a puppy. I think were going to go pick her up tomorrow...Im so excited! Here's a picture of her

Great Choice!!! She is Very Special!!! I Love the name Saffron. I have a 6 wk old little girl that will be looking for her Forever Home soon & I haven't given her a name yet. Do you mind if I borrow it? It may only be temporary if her new family wants something different, but for now I think I would like to name her after your baby. I wanted something with an S because her brothers temporary name is Stuey. Best of Luck to you & your little girl.

Yes u can have Saffron! We actually renamed her so thats not her name anymore anyways. her new name is Mallie. I hope you little ones find good homes!

I do have two small males, about 5 lb, available. Sparkie is a year old and very laid back, Tripper is very playful and almost 6 months old. garlinyorkies.info for lots of pictures. Can deliver to Westerville, my son lives there.

Hello. I have a boy who is Ch. Grandsired. Jared was born 12-14-08. Totally socialized with people, children, other dogs, cats.. He has been vet checked, dew claws and tail done, all shots including rabies shot(here will save you a good $150.) dewormed, frontline and guaranteed. He comes with AKC limited reg. Nothing wrong with him at all. A good loving boy. My prices are very reasonable. I am in Cranesville, Pa. Takes me 4 hrs or less to get to Columbus. Contact me if you would like more info. I live in southern Indiana near Seymour I have litter of 4 2 wks today mom is silver and gold 6lbs. dad is 3lbs black and gold. The males well be 600-700 . I would have to talk to partner tosee if she would take 600. They are AKC. rwmillknotkennel@seidata.com

I have found a new baby! So no need for anymore e-mails trying to sell me puppies. I would love to have a whole pack of dogs running around, but I'm living at home so that's not possible.
Mallie Is our new little girl. Other than a slight case of pneumonia, she's doing great. Roman and Mallie get along so well (usually lol). We're so happy with her(other than her expensive 3 days to treat her pneumonia lol). Thanks to everyone, I hope you are able to find great homes for your puppies.
