Looking for a puppy or young adult yorkie Hi! I posted on a different section, but I beleive this would be the more appropriate section. We are looking for a new addition to our family, my fiance would really like a smaller yorkie, something around 3-4.5lbs full grown. We have seen quite a few different looks on yorkies since we have been looking, and what she really would like is one that will, or has the smaller petite looking face. We are looking to spend no more than 1100 shipped ( we live in Rochester NY ). She would honestly rather have a pup that is a year or two old, so if that helps, great! |

hi i live in va i sold a puppy back in dec to a girl who says she just doesnt have enough time and patience to train him. he is 4.5lbs black and gold 7 month old ckc registered groomed on a reg netured hes been to puppy classes he still has some accidents in the house he was petite as a puppy so im assuming he still has a petite face and build at 4.5lbs all vaccines current im not sure why its taking so long to train, i do know this was her first dog and i think she was overwhelmed with the whole thing im sure he would be easily trained if someone had another dog to help. i think he is lonely, he doesnt like being outside and he doesnt have anyone to play with and she works alot now. i just think he needs someone who knows the breed and has time and i think another yorkie there would help i would like to have it him back but we are closing on a new house and all the funds are tied up right now if you or someone else is interested please let me know im waiting on pics |

You should try the AKC website they have a breeder referral page or talk to your local vets. Whatever you do make sure you look for an AKC regisitration all the rest aren't worth the paper they are written on. I would also make sure you get a health guarantee. If you are looking for a baby that tiny you want to make sure it is guaranteed against birth defects. Do your homework and just don't jump at the first puppy you see. Ask questions look at parents et cetera |
