Help! Looking for Yorkie in IL
 
Hi! I am new hear and just found out about this board via google when I was doing research for a Yorkie.

Would anyone be able to help me locate a Yorkie in IL or near by? I was looking for an older dog, maybe 6 months or older.

I have been looking since Nov. and anytime my local shelter gets a yorkie, it is adopted that very day, usually while I am at work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck on your search. I'm from IL (Chicago) as well. I've been looking for a younger yorkie for late June- July. I've been doing tons of research myself. :)

You can try Sardust yorkies she may have one female left. She lives in Clarendon Hills, il and her number is on her website. My Pixie and Roxie are both from her.

I keep for getting about Stardust yorkies. She seemed to have slipped my mind. I work in Hinsdale, so a trip there wouldn't be out of the way.

I too am from Illinois (Aurora) and have a little girl but was thinking about getting another one. I have seen the name Stardust and wondered if she is a good breeder. I had a very difficult time trying to find a really good, decent, honest breeder in the area.

You NEED to remove the temptation for me! I still can't decide if I'm glad or sad that he's far enough away from me that it's giving me lots of time to think it over. :(

I haven't seen the mother yet, but from what his daddy looks like and what I see of this boy's "growing up" picks, I think he's going to have one of the looks I like (like my girl's, LOL, but with different colouring, hah). He falls under the age range you're looking at and he's located just right next door to you! You should visit to check if his personality suits yours. :)

Thank you so much but the asking price is out of my range. Even though he is just SOO cute.

There's still hope! The seller stated she's willing to work with the buyer on the price if that's the only cause of your hesitation! Doesn't hurt to try if you think that baby boy is what you're looking for. :)

I've got another little boy available that might be more in your price range. He's going to be 4 1/2 to 5lbs. full grown. I don't have him on my website, but I'd gladly email you pics if you're interested.

Female Puppy
 
Hi, Illinois ladies

I have a female puppy which will be ready near the end of May, reasonably price, looking for a loving home. It just so happens I will be taking a trip to Ill. near the end of May - early June to visit my parents. I would be willing to meet, along I80 or within a reasonable distance from Chicago Heights area. no shipping fee. If you would like photos I can supply those and a reference.

Go to petfinder St louis just had 3 puppy mill busts in 2 months. and there a plenty out there. you may also have to go to a breed specific rescue. Most Humaine Societies will place their small breeds with rescues. I just adopted Lilly from St Louis Who is from the february 13th bust. But you have to remember these dogs take patience because they had such a terrible life and we couldnt imagine the cruelty they suffered.
