Florida Yorkie puppy wanted.... We're still looking for a playpal for Jo...we would consider a puppy or young adult and it doesn't really matter if it's male or female but we want one that will be about 4 to 4 1/2 pounds full grown. Of course health is the first priority but cuteness counts too :) We're in central Florida and would be willing to drive a reasonable distance. |

Have you looked at puppyfind.com? I know they have some awesome ones listed in TX. Are you interested in shipping....if so look under TX also...Good Luck! |

www.posiesyorkies.com This is the website of the breeder from whom I purchased Chuy. His name is Kenneth Knight and he is located in Hattisburg, Ms. He is extremely nice and very helpful. He also has beautiful puppies with a couple litters available right now. Feel free to check out his site, and if you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to pm me. I drive from Biloxi to Pensacola several times a week, and I would love to assist with transporting your baby should you decide on one of Posies Little Sweetheart. |

He has several prices for his yorkies, although all are CKC registerd. I paid less for Chuy, because his dam was 8lbs and the sire was 4lbs, and Kenneth couldn't guarentee (sp?) the weight of Chuy. That was fine because weight is not an issue with me as I only wanted a baby to spoil and have no desire to breed him. His prices range from 500 to 1500 per baby. For me, it was a relief to work with Kenneth to find my baby, as I have never bought from a breeder before. All my babies were rescued prior to this one. He answered all my questions and gave me lots of great info on caring for the little tyke. My husband and I are talking about getting Chuy a playmate once he's (Chuy, not the husband) is housebroken. Chuy was sooooo well-socialized when we got him that I have no qualms what-so-ever about bringing another sweetheart into the house, and we will go though Kenneth to get him or her. |

Thanks for the info, I like the look of his dogs, but I can only have AKC, as that is how my two are registered. |

Hi I am just curious why the reg. of the new puppy would matter. I personally do not reg with CKC but if it is just a playmate for your already spoiled babies, you could even not reg a puppy at all. Maybe I misunderstand the reason you are looking--you are not planning to breed, right? I am not suggesting you should buy a CKC reg puppy...BTW |

Thank you but we're no longer looking for a puppy...we found a small male a couple weeks ago. |

Jo-Jo where did you find your boy? |

Breeder in South Florida You might try YorkieRose since she is in South Florida and very well thought of on the YT site. I think she had pups a while back but I'm not sure if they are all spoken for as of now. I would never never buy a Yorkshire Terrier for a pet without AKC papers . AKC means that both the sire and dam were yorkshire terriers and nothing else. Doesn't mean good quality or good health but gosh if I am paying for a Yorkshire Terrier I would at least like that protection. |
