Looking for a Yorkie for sale in Alabama, Georgia, or Mississippi I have been looking for a yorkie for MONTHS & I just can't find one that I can afford. I know they are not cheap dogs & I am willing to pay for one but I have not been able to find one for less than $800 & that just is not practical for me . I actually did find one for $250 but the lady would not sell the baby to me because I have a child & she said she would step on the puppy. A little info about me incase anyone see's this ad that has one for sale and wants to know about my home life. I am in nursing school & married to the love of my life. We have a 2 year old little girl who is my world. I LOVE any & ALL animals, I always have & believe that my little girl is going to be the same way because she adores dogs. The puppy that I get is going to be a 100% INSIDE dog but will also be taken outside reguarly & I do have a fenced in yard, front & back. If anyone has a sweet little angel for sale or knows of anyone who does please contact me at ghett0cnderella@aol.com or call me at anytime 205-821-8843. I live in Birmingham, Alabama but I am willing to travel. I have been searching for a LONG time & I am beyond ready to find a puppy and make it the newest addition to my wonderful family! :) |
I know that it is difficult to afford a Yorkie/any doggie during this time of economic stress. But the deal is, unfortunately, that you usually get what you pay for. It's not to say that many have had great success with doggies that are under $1,000 but since there are so many back-yard-breeders who care very little about the genetics of breeding, and nasty puppy millers it is very risky looking for a cheap puppy. Might I suggest that you check out rescues and shelters? There are many Yorkies being turned in because people can no longer afford the cost of caring for their doggies. It would also be wise to look for a larger Yorkie since you have a two yr. old child. I have a 2 yr. old granddaughter and I watch very, very closely. There have been horrible stories here on YT concerning small children and small furbabies. They just don't mix. Broken legs, concussions and worse have been reported. Hope you find the Yorkie of your dreams. ~Joanne~ |
there is someone on here with a new litter of larger yorkie puppies for a very reasonable price..if you are interested in a larger yorkie I can give you her screen name. |
Hi there! I have 4 yorkies available,I think they will be great for a family that has kids. Since they are not gonna be tiny..The mom weight around 9 1/2 and dad around 5 1/2 .So I will assume they will be around 7 to 8 lbs..If you want any more info you can send me a private msg..check out my albums..i got a few pictures of them..thanks |

There are "stickies" at the top of this forum that provide a lot of good information on what to look for in a breeder and "red flags" to stay away from. Please check out any breeders you are considering, even breeders that may contact you from this site. There are a lot of good and bad breeders out there! Best of luck! |
there are several breeders in AL that have yorkies for sale. I have not check any of these breeders out and you should do so before you buy one of them. Here is a list and if anyone knows anything about one of them, they will tell you! www.trishasdesignerpaws.com www.bainsakcyorkies.com www.klassyk9syorkshireterriers.com www.redpoppypets.com There is always listings in AL.com which is where these websites came from. |

I don't think it's a good idea to recommend breeders if you do not know anything about them. I didn't get past the home page on two of the links you posted because one has all kinds of mixed breeds and the other one mentioned their breeding females start at 3lbs! Not breeders I would be pointing out to people! |

That is why I said these are posted in AL.com. They always have those on there and she does need to be careful wherever she buys from from. |

I understand you do not know them and that to me is why I wouldn't pass them along. Especially after seeing red flags on at least two of them. I just don't think it helps throwing their names out there. JMO You are right, people do need to be careful and research! Lots of unethical breeders out there, too many! :( |
The first and fourth one listed sells mixed breeds. The second has a dam that's 3 pounds. One sells through next day pets. :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown :thumbdown |
