Aww Nancy, I am sure it was hard, 6 months is PLENTY of time to get attached to a little one. Hugs! |
Yeah, I am happy for Darby. We are so close to you I was very tempted, but Maybelline is a handful by herself. I can't wait to find out who is his new mommie. |
Oh yay! Great news! :D Now....who's his mommy??? |
Darby's new home Hi! Just wanted to let everyone know that Darby has been in his new home for a week and has adjusted wonderfully.;) He has two skin sisters and one fur sister yorkie. Darby really likes his fur sister "Lillie" so much, we had to go ahead and neuter him. He is recovering well. He loves to snuggle with all his sisters and especially his new mommy and daddy. He loves to sleep in the bed with mommy and daddy. He loves the water, so much, you'd think he was a lab. We will take some pics and post to give everyone an update. Thank you Nancy for our "little man". :animal36 PS-the belly bands are working perfect! he is learning to potty train very fast!! |

I had my camera out to take pictures when you were here and then forgot to use it! :( Please give him a hug for me. Glad the belly bands worked out. Wasn't sure about the Monkey material for the pee pad, hope you like it. |

omg i would love for Gunther to have him as a brother... his parents and him are adorable... and we don't live far from bay city!!!!! do you still have him avaliable? |
well just saw he isn't avaliable.. but i was wondering how does the belly bands help with potty training... |
belly bands Hi neighbor! I used to live in Katy, but we moved about a year ago to Lufkin. We have a female who is completely potty trained, so it makes training a little easier. We have Darby wear the belly band while in the house. When we go outside, we take it off. Darby has only had one accident in the belly band. It really isn't an accident, but he has urinated in his band. It seems that he doesn't want the wet pad against his body, so he will not potty in the band. We will of coarse, take the band off when he is completely trained. Darby doesn't wear the band at night, because he sleeps in the bed with us and doesn't get off. He is such a good boy, he holds it all night. We also had Nancy make some piddle pads that work great when we have to leave. We put the piddle pad down and leave the dogs in a closed off area and they use the piddle pad if they have to. HTH a little.:) |
