Seeking a Yorkie Puppy around Xmas. Greetings! I live in the Dallas area. I have been looking for a Yorkie for me and my 2 children (1 and 3). I am very interested in finding one for them for Christmas. Prefer a male that will not get any larger than 5 pounds or so. (But will take a female). Would like to pay no more than $300-350. My question is: Is there anyone who will have a Yorkie puppy (around 8 to 10 weeks) available around Chirstmas (Around Dec. 28-29). I will be out of town during Christmas and plan to celebrate Christmas as soon as we return. I think this would be a great gift for them and me, as well. If anyone could provide any information that would be wonderful. Thank you! :aimeeyork |
Male Puppy We hope you find what your looking for as this is a great place to start. You'll find, I'm afraid, that many will be worried about a small puppy with such small children. We are located just outside of Beaumont. I did notice your price request and though we have a male available, we unfortunately have nothing in that range. We never price our males "cheaper" than our females as it takes the same amount of time, love, and care to prepare one as the other. That said, if you have any questions or find a puppy in your price range and have any specific questions, we would be happy to help. You may PM me or contact me directly by the website below. |
If you want to get a puppy for 300.00 to 350.00 you may need to look at a rescue. You can try Puppyfind. |
I just wanted to add that before I got Zoe, I didn't realize just how small and fragile these little guys are. She's only about 5 1/4 lbs and I get nervous sometimes with the kids. Not that my 5 year old is not gentle with her but just when he's running and jumping around, I'm afraid she's gonna get hurt when she's chasing after. My sister has a yorkie who is about 12 lbs and he's still small but not nearly as fragile so maybe you might want to reconsider such a small one with your little ones....just a suggestion. :p |
Thank you! Hello Everyone. Thank you so much for the information. I did not think of it that way. I may have to reconsider getting a larger yorkie. However, I would still like a puppy to start with so that it can grow with the kids. Though I realize the concern some breeders may have with me having small children, I am a great parent and the puppy would have a great loving home. :p I would ensure the puppy is safe and sound. I am still very much interested in a puppy that may be ready around December 28. If anyone hears or know anyone, please contact me offline at rochellesimon@sbcglobal.net. Thank you so much! :) |
I recommend a larger puppy. My first yorkie was 9 pounds. My girls were 1 and 2 and they did wonderful together. |
Just wanted to wish you luck in your puppy search :) You will have to post pics when you find him! |
