Hello,

I'm looking to get a play mate for Finnigan. :aimeeyork We have a very loving home. We'd like to raise the dog from a puppy. Finnigan was 10 weeks when we brought him home and that was perfect! Prefer an AKC full-registered female.

Finnigan is 5lbs so we'd like her projected weight to be around the same.

I would never want a puppy to be shipped to me, and would be willing to drive to meet someone as long as its not over 2 hours.

HI, I have a female yorkie puppy for sale, we was going to keep her but we are biting off more than we can chew, she is 6 months old potty training started, she has had her shots, wormed and she if very loveable, we sell our females for 400.00 each, but she does not have papers, we are located in carlinville illinois, if you want to check the drive. Hey Jenni, i'm way new to this yorkie talk, however I am expecting 2 litters in Nov, so they'd be ready in feb/mar? Only prob I see is I live in UT.

We've still not found the perfect girl to add to our family. It took me months to find Finnigan and I've moved 6 hours away from his breeder. Anyone know of good breeders in the central IL area.

I had received several PM's from breeders but I think Finni stepped on my keyboard and erased my PM's.

Wish me luck on our search!!

Alright,

So I'm bringing up this thread again. Matt and I decided against getting a girl last fall because we didn't want to try potty training over the winter with it being so cold. So we're thinking we'd like to bring a little girl home in March/ April. We're willing to drive, like I said. I think we'll cut the driving off at 3-4 hours.

Is it bad to be so picky on what breeder we go with and is it possible to ask too many questions about a new puppy? I had several replies from some wonderful breeders, but some seemed to shy off when I'd ask too many questions in the fall.

Good luck!!! I got Winston from a breeder in Danville...Iowa, not Illinois. But I'm also not entirely sure that I would recommend her either. Don't get me wrong, I love Winston with all my heart...he's sweet as can be, smart, potty trained amazingly well and I think he's cute...but he does have a health issue...hypoglycemia/seizures. He'll be 5 years old next month and weighs in @ 8 pounds...so the low blood sugar doesn't come from him not eating...he eats extremely well. I don't know maybe it's something he inherited???

I live in central Indiana and have a beautiful lil girl that is CKC reg.She will be larger than the 5lbs though, I am estimating around 8. She was our "horse" out the the litter of 6 girls. She is VERY playful. Let me know if you are interested as I know it is quite a drive. Good luck on your search either way.

Hi there :) If your still looking I have 3 gorgeous girls looking for their forever home. They are absolutley adorable and so loving. I'm in Michigan but I also ship using Continentals pet Safe program, but I also welcome new parents to come and pick their babies up at my home :)

There are reviews on me in the breeder review section from other YT members that have got their baby from me.

I have 2 girls that were born the first of January and will be available around the begining of March. I would be happy to keep them longer if you were interested and be willing to meet you since I am from Michigan. If you are interested PM me and I'll gladly answer any questions you have.

Of course not! You want what you want. You may have a hard time finding a reputable breeder willing to place a pup with full registration, but you are doing the right thing by being thorough and asking questions. If a breeder shies off when you ask questions...it would be a bit suspicious, IMO. I wish more people would take the time to ask question and make sure they are making the right decision.
