looking for homes... so hard a decision. 3 Attachment(s) Please Yorkie Talk Members... I am looking to rehome my yorkies. I have three adult yorkies needing love. My circumstances in life have changed (sometimes things happen... abuse and divorce a horror.. but I am survivor). I work long hours as a nurse and now that I am living alone these babies need more than I am able to provide. There are sometimes days I am now at work and gone from the home over 13 hours. This is tearing at my heart... but I want to be humane and that these babies find the love and attention they deserve. First I will tell you of Capone. He is nothing but a gentleman. He is a little bigger of a yorkie (about 8 1/2 pounds) and would do well in a home with children. He is AKC, CKC, and ACA registered. He has the perfect disposition. I love his mannerly ways. He is great company and wonderful with other dogs... always letting others eat first... and letting them do as they will in their play with him. He is almost fatherly in his play. His placement fee is $200.00. Next is Gypsy. She is a beauty! She weighs around 6 pounds and is so good a mother... a companion... and one that loves attention! She is so good in her being bathed and loves her brushings and care. She is interesting in her coloring... sometimes appearing dark. She is a true Gypsy... her name fits her well. She is CKC and ACA registered. I am asking a $350.00 placement fee for her. Then there is Little Eve. She was parented by Gypsy and Capone. She is eleven months old. She is more than I can begin to describe... she is incredible... perfect and beautiful. She is a tiny, tiny thing... weighing maybe three pounds. She is registered... but I will not let her papers go with her... I do not want that she be bred... she is too small! She will make someone looking for a yorkie a beautiful representation of the breed! She is a good little dog... sometimes you do not even realize she is on the place! She loves attention also... and is very good and so so sweet. She is so small... she will make her new human parent think they have a puppy forever. Her placement fee is $450.00. I am asking a placement fee. It is not that I am seeking money first... believe me the search for a good home for them is my first concern. I have personal reasons for this and researched and think my placement fees fair... I hope this is not met with criticism. I will consider options and their new environments. I also have a liitter of three puppies looking for homes too. So sad... how life changes and you feel guilty for things which happen beyond your control. Such is life... we move on doing the best we can in desicions we have made. I live in the western area of Virginia. Please PM if interested. I now post pictures... gosh... I cry looking at them. |
I don't think you will have any problem finding them a home. They are all beautiful!! I would love to have Gypsy and Eve! My daughters middle name is Eve. Eve looks just like my Jasmine and about the same age. Good Luck! |
Good luck finding them their forever homes...they are so cute! Tammy |
AAWWW hun I'm so sorry you have to rehome your babies but I'm glad you're thinking about them. Good luck and again I am so sorry. |
I hope you find good homes for your babies, I am sure that this is very hard for you. They are all so cute. Can I ask the ages of Gypsy and Capone? Also are they fixed? |
Your three babies are beautiful. I love Capone, my what a handsome boy. I am so sorry you are going threw such hard times now. I hope things ease up for you soon. I hope they find the loving homes they deserve. You are very smart in asking a small fee for them, kinda secures a better home. I would have the youngest one spayed. You never know who will get her and breed her even if they seem nice. Better safe than sorry. Good luck, |
oh I hope you find them wonderful homes . . .it must be soo hard to have to come to this decision :( but I know you have their best interest at heart :( |
I just send you a PM... |
I'm so sorry. I am crying for you. This must be very hard. I hope you find them wonderful homes. |
What a heartbreaking and loving decision. I hope you find them wonderful homes. |
I'm sorry you have to rehome, they are beautiful babies and I'm sure you will find loving homes for them! |
I'm really sorry you have to find them new homes. It must be so hard for you. I just want to share with you that my little Sammy came to me when she was 10 months old from a former YT'er who like yourself, had the courage to give her up. We love her so much and she is a perfect addition to our family. We've adjusted to her little quirks (and cuteness!) as she has pretty much taken over around here. I even think Sam looks a bit like your Gypsy. I just wanted to give you a little encouragement. I hope you find them wonderful homes. I do want to encourage you to require that your girls be spayed. Sammy was in heat when we got her, so we had to wait two months but she was spayed as soon as our vet would allow her to be, as part of our agreement with her original owner. We were not at all offended that she asked and we would have done it anyway. Please just think about it. Good luck to you! They are beautiful! |
I'm so sorry you're going thru hard times. Your babies are beautiful and I hope someone here can get them. I'm sure you will not have a hard time finding homes. I wish you the best of luck! |

Thank you for pointing out my mistake on my web-site. I was working on it late last night. And yes, Gypsy is almost four. They are all great dogs... and I am not trying to misrepresent myself in any way. I hope you realize this. I appreciate all you condolences and considerations. This is very hard. |
