Looking For Rescue/Rehome
 
Hi guys. I have an older couple that lost their 13 year old Yorkie to Kidney Failure in December. Their kids are grown and married, he's retired but works part time at a furniture store (That's where I met him) anyway, they are intersted in finding another Yorkie or Yorkie mix (Small). They would like to look for one that needs to be rehomed or a rescue. They are open to age up to three years old. They live in NJ and I told the gentleman that I'd post here on YT for him and also I'd send him info. on Yorkie Rescue etc. I really think they would give some special Yorkie a great home. He seemed so broken up over his and when he spoke of her you could just hear how well taken care of she was. If anyone hears anything pls. let me know so that I can pass it along to this couple. I am trying to find Woody a new home. We do live in AL. He is 2 yrs. old.

That would be awesome! He deserves to be spoiled and it sounds like this family would do just that ;)

You are oh so right! Wood deeserves the very best! I cannot afford right now to get hiim spayed but I would love to know that a family would get him to do that or he would not be in any position to reproduce! I definately can't take him to them, but I would love if they could come and get him!!

Hi Niki. I am pretty sure that this couple would like a female although he did not totally rule out getting a male. I sent him info. on a little boy in Brooklyn NY that is five months old. Anytime I find one I send them the info. One I thought would be ideal for them but the owner would like her to be in a home with another Yorkie. Seeing her and telling me that is like showing a kid a lollipop. LOL. I may end up taking her myself not that I need another :rolleyes: but it's very tempting. Thanks again and I hope Woody finds a great home. I think they would like to find one local to them or atleast driving distance so they can meet first. Elaine

Have you checked out Petfinder. I have seen a couple not long ago
in a resuce in Sewell NJ. Is that close to them?
And one in Egg Harbor also.
