Does anyone know of a [B]reputable[/B] breeder in Alabama, northern Florida, or western Georgia? I don't want a tiny, tiny yorkie but I would like to find one in th 4-5lb range. I love the silky hair.

I know a breeder in Hamilton, Ga. This is about 20 mins. outside of Columbus. You can find her on www.breeders.net. (York's Loveable Pets) or let me know and I will give you her #. She has been great. I call her all the time asking questions. She also gives a guarantee.

Shannon, I know of three males that will be sold but they are too young right now. This woman lives in Birmingham and has beautiful dogs, This is where I got Polyana.- I will give you her number if you want to PM me, but her babys are priced accordingly. And I can tell you that they are not 850.00, but they are have champion bloodlines on both the parents. Not that I am saying you can't find a beautiful baby at 850.00, I am not downing anyones puppies, I just don't want to you to contact me with the impression this is what she sells her pups for is all. :)

Just and FYI my dogs have champion bloodlines in their pedigree also and are of very high quality. My female sold for $1500. which is the sister to the male that I have for sale.

I never implied that your dog wasn't of good champion quality. If you look at what I wrote and I will quote myself " Not that I am saying you can't find a beautiful baby at 850.00, I am not downing anyones puppies " It is just this is a elderly woman caring for a very sick husband and she just wants people to know up front what she is selling her Yorkies for and that was what I was trying to stress !!! And I was trying to tell Sharond a little of the background on the puppies, so she too wouldn't be going on a wild goose chase. So if trying to watch out for this woman and needless calls, as she is trying hard to deal with her husbands illness, makes me mean and ugly, so be it. I think I do want to be the ugliest person in the world under those circumstances, so sorry I have some compassion for the elderly. But again I stress I didn't in any shape or fashion down you are your puppy for sale and I am really sorry the my post made you feel that way....

I have read this three times and I cannot figure out what was mean or ugly. Sue only said she knew of other pups that were in a different price range. I understood that to be an attempt to save this person the effort of contacting for the higher priced dogs if that was not what she wanted to spend.
Sit back, have a cup of tea or something and RELAX! and then maybe you should think about apologizing for overreacting.
