Looking for adult yorkie! I am looking for an adult, intact, Yorkie with AKC Ch. Bloodlines. 2-4 years of age if possible. Will be extremely well cared for. I'm located in Tennessee, and would like to meet the dog but am willing to have one shipped, if needed. Please include this info: :animal-pa Age: :animal-pa Weight: :animal-pa Temperment: :animal-pa Price: :animal-pa Picture(s): Please let me know if you have a baby in need of a home! References available, if needed. Thank you so much for your time! :aimeeyork bluemoonxoxo@hotmail.com |
I was suppose to adopt these pair, but I failed to pull through with the contract. I feel so terrible to this day. I know they are still upset with me, but I'm pretty sure you can offer them a good home. You may want to contact Lee or Joanne. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=112607 |
Oh nevermind... I see that you already contacted them :). Goodluck! |
So....you want to breed it? |
Thank you Addicted!!! :D Grayxie; Yes. I've been researching Yorkies for about 5-6 years now, and am finally ready to purchase a dog to breed. I own a Yorkie, and a Yorkie mix, and know the breed well. I also have been involved in showing, and am considering doing some handling with the Yorkie(s) I get. I bought my current Yorkie 2 years ago with intentions to breed, and show, but she's only a little under 4 1/2 pounds, and I don't want to risk a pregnancy with her, and have her scheduled to be spayed. So I am looking to buy some adults with good lineage, temperment, etc. I've been a member here since I 1st got my Dixie, and I know there are some breeders here with some very nice dogs, so I was hoping to possibly find one who was looking for a good home for one of their adults. Thanks to everyone who's posted. :D And it looks like I may not be able to get a Yorkie until April. But if anyone's willing to hold one for me, let me know. :aimeeyork -Lauren |
Did you ever consider getting another puppy and waiting until it matures to start breeding? You may have better luck that way, then getting a current breeding yorkie. |
I have, and may end up going that way. The only reason I wanted to purchase an adult is that my current Yorkie that I own has 70+ CH, and I bought her to show/breed, but her estimated adult weight was 5-5.5 pounds, and she's only around 4.3-4.5 pounds. I want to be sure it will be a safe size to breed. I already have arrangments to get my Dixie spayed, and I'd hate to get another one, fall in love, and have it be too small, all over again. As a breeder, I realize the answer to most would be to find her a new home, and get another, but as a dog lover I could never do that! She's my baby! So I'm sure you realize what I mean. :P Anyway, I'm not giving up jut yet, I'm in no hurry. I actually don't know if I can even take one until April-ish anyway. But thanks so much, and I may end up getting a little puppy in the end. But I think an adult would be my best bet. Thanks again, Lauren, & the girls |
UPDATE: I'm considering younger dogs, now. (: |
