I understand you are in the process of resaling Cammie.. I really do think you need to be careful in what you say and insinuate because my understanding is your previous buyer had a life changing situation come up and I think she did the best she knew with what was at hand...

If I was the breeder in this particular situation I would be more than willing to take the dog back and I would not even ask one question!

You might ought to think about your posting that said you were STRUNG ALONG because I do not think your buyer intentionally made this decision. It was the best for CAMMIE and her and her family.

You should have no trouble selling your baby. I wish you the best!

Vicki, From my understanding is the previous buyer kept going back and forth about paying and or affording her. Yes things do arise and financial difficulties can occur. But this person also was going to purchase Cammie first but just went and bought another dog after she said she wanted Cammie first and then paid more for this pup then Cammie's original asking price and then had asked Kimmie to lower the price. And knowing that Kimmie agreed to this and was willing to drive 4 1/2 hours just to make sure that this home was in fact Cammie's forever home. Knowing this, where is she wrong in insinuating? I think she had every right. I was in Kimmie's home and seen things this person had told her and indeed I believe she strung her along. Kimmie was more then willing to work things out with her but her back and forth on if she could afford her or not and then when she'd say no, Kimmie would say ok I'm sorry it didnt work out that she thought she was going to her forever home, and then the next moment it was no i want her I'll charge her then sent a deposit when she said she'd pay for the whole thing. Your only getting one side of the story and you need to understand where Kimmie is upset and coming from. Being a breeder Kimmie understands this happens and would want Cammie to be in the best home for her but considering the fact that I honestly believe this person played on Kimmie's niceness. That is wrong in all means. :thumbdown :thumbdown

But isn't it two sided. If she was 'stringing' her along then why didn't she realize it and cancel the sell to that person. If she saw that the buyer wasn't going back and forth why not cancel all ties with that person and find another loving home? From what you are saying, It makes it seem that the reason why she was able to string her along was because she was going to pay for the pup. If one of the reason was financial difficulties then why didn't she realize right then that that might not be the right home. Finding a home for your baby shouldn't be a time were you second guess yourself. And why get upset? at the end the puppy isn't going to a home where the pulled Kimmie along right? Shouldn't she be glad that she is now able to find a better home? And I think that the message did came off rude and snidely (and atleast 3 others agree). She keeps saying others, not just that one person. She is talking down about people that inquired for some time then decided to back out because of their own reason. I would hate to inquire about a puppy then when I beside on a different breeder that breeder started making little remarks. And There are many that think those comments were on called for.

I am sorry about Cammie. I know what it is like to be strung along. I have let 2 puppies go in the past with the promise of payments,pictures ect and never heard from them again. Then had a held a baby for several different people. One wanted me to hold the puppy until they came back from vacation and when they did the puppy was 5 months old and they wanted a 2lb puppy not an almost grown puppy. You have a right to be upset as she had failed to send the deposit,let you plan the 5 hr drive and it is 5hr we just drove it then at the last minute drop the ball. True as a breeder I would take my puppy back in a heartbeat but no more will I hold a puppy without a deposit. This puppy could have had a great home with a traveling elderly couple had I not been holding him. It seems people will want you to hold one then find another because they can't wait for them to get 12 weeks and they really want that 8 week old out of the newspaper

I think the buyer is going to be very glad that you find Cammie a home as it has been a very trying time on their family.

I am not sure who agrees or disagrees I just think that Kimmie being a breeder may need to separate her emotions publicly. When I read the posts I definitely said :thumbdown Kimmie if you are not careful people will be afraid to buy from you in fear you will bring their business out publicly. I have had 3 pms from people I DO NOT KNOW and this is what has been said to me "SO BE CAREFUL"

I only know of the remarks you have made by reading this thread and I think maybe your emotuions were kicked in but I would be extremely careful and I say this because your actions depend on your next sale in my opinion.

I mean when I think of YT and the people here from what I have read about this particular story I was shocked your name is behind it all... I know you have alot of friends and I think that is great but you do not want stuff like this to come up in the future I would nip it in the bud and basically I would have said Cammie is for sale again. It did not work out...You don't want someone to post about you in the breeder review so be
careful:)

Kimmie, I am so sorry for all you're going through..that baby is precious, and if my hubby would let me have one more, I would take her in a heartbeat...Believe me, there are ALL kinds in this crazy world, and I'm so sorry someone strung you along..This precious baby will find the perfect forever home..
