Best wishes on your search. Try the yorkies for sale forums. |
There are a lot of wonderful breeders from Ohio. There was a boy that was in need of a home. I am not sure if he's still available. I was interested in him because he's such a cutie. I decided not to adopt him because I'm going to adopt a pair of adults. I'm pretty sure you can workout a good price with one of them. He was for a reasonable price. Let me try to link you. The breeder Faith seems sooo sweet. Goodluck on your search! |
http://yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98603 check that out... I think she probably found him a home, but you can always ask. |
Thanks for the referral Linda. And yes,Buckeye did find his new home. But he won't be leaving until Jan.He will be going to live in Florida with a lady who also has one of my friends puppies. I am really nervous about shipping him but I'm sure he'll be just fine.He will be 5 months on Thurs. |

I'm glad Buckeye finally found a new home. By January, he'll be a big boy, I'm sure he'll do fine flying. Of course you gotta be nervous as you have never shipped one of your babies before. He is really a cutie... I should have gotten him when I had the chance, but to be honest, I don't think I can handle the puppy phase again lol. I'm sure he'll be in a good home. Goodluck Faith! |
Hi Jen! I'm in central, OH - Mount Vernon - and I have two females available that I expect to be 4-5 lbs full grown. The dam weighs 4 and the stud weighs 3. They just turned 10 weeks today and they're ready to go to their furever homes. I'm asking $1000 each. If you're interested feel free to e-mail me at jenn@brodysbabies.com. I have a few pictures I can send. Thanks! |

That is the going price in the papers here right now for BYB. I saw what was probably her ad in the paper once and called because it said AKC champion lines and she didn't have a clue about lines just that someone had told her that her male had them. Didn't even have a pedigree or know what it is. Don't know if this is the same person or not but I do know the bottom has dropped out here in Kentucky. I will probably give all of Ky a heart attack when mine comes out in the paper tomorrow. :D My prices are almost triple that. |

I live in KY and got both my AKC babies for about $500. On both the prices were reduced because the breeders couldn't sell them for any more. Both came from 'pet homes' are perfectly healthy and on visiting the homes found that both came from breeders who only bred one or two females and only one litter from each yearly. These people weren't backyard breeders, their dogs were their pets and were kept in their home. Phoebe was 12 weeks old and they still had a male they couldn't sell and had reduced his price as well. This is an economically deprived area and most things are cheaper here than in bigger cities and other places. |

There are a lot of differences regionally- you are right. And trust me,Lexie is worth a MILLION bucks to me!! I gladly would have paid more-she is without a doubt the love of my life. I just don't want people to think if they get a "bargain" or happen to get lucky (like I did!!) that they are less than great puppies!! |
2 Attachment(s) I have two little males that will be ready in a few weeks. I am just an hour from Cleveland. PM me if you are interested. I can give you more info, price, pics of parents...whatever you would like. Lori |

Umm, sooo not true..... I have a yorkie, with papers, from a reputable breeder and he's never been ill (ever), no shunt problems, nada. He has a beautiful coat and he is small. (I prefer not to own the 2, 3, 4 pounders). He fits his breed standard. I got all of this, and I SURELY didn't pay 2xs the price. |

It all just boils down to the breeder... not necessarily price. My baby's breeder has been breeding for 10+ years. She used to show in the 80's and 90's and still remains very active in her local YTCA chapter. Her "pet" yorkies are always priced in the 500 to 800 range (although she breeds very seldom). They are beautiful and her bloodlines are remarkable. If she feels your family is a good fit, you might be lucky to purchase one of her pups. Believe it or not, you can find a quality breeder selling pups for less than $1000. You just have to do your homework. I just wish she was still in Florida! :( She moved to Kentucky back in 2006. |
i have yorkie in illinois if interested! kathe4u@yahoo.com |
