My Show Hopeful Growing Up 3 Attachment(s) Here are some new photos of my Prize. I just took him out of oil to see how he looks. I have another baby with my handler now and miss her so much. She has been gone only a week, but seems like forever. I am trying to concentrate now on Prize, so I do not think of my other one. :justahug: Prize is one year old today! :bigbdaypa T. |

Thank you all so much. This support helps me so much not miss my baby girl so much while she is with her handler. I have American and European yorkies. The one away with her handler is American and she is already pointed. Hopefully she will finish quickly and be home soon. Deana -Yes, Prize is European. I see good and bad yorkies from all continents. Our world is getting so small that so many breeders/exhibitors have both (Am. and European or other country/continent whether it be Canada, Germany, Mexico, or even South America). Many top well know breeders have both American and European/other country yorkies. The main thing is to have excellent quality, especially soundness. So when I was looking for my first yorkies - I looked at the pup first, then parents, and grandparents, as well as reputation and winning record of the breeder. The breeder I got Prize from has the World Veteran Winner yorkie for 2006 he also holds the title in 2006 for the top yorkie in his country. The breeder, here in US, that I got one of my yorkies from bought from this same breeder (as Prize came from) and finished her dog from that same breeder in only 4 shows, winning back to back with 5 point majors at a Speciality. When looking you do have to be so careful, you can get some gorgeous yorkies - no matter where you go - Or - You can also get some really horrible ones too. Do your research, learn all you can, and be very picky. Then do the testing and checking to make sure you have a great dog. I love Prize. He is turning out very well, I think. Infact, he is my trainer's favorite out of all my yorkies and garantees me he will do veryyyyy well in the ring. I just hope he does and maybe if I am really lucky he will do as well at showing as the other boy from his breeder. I will have him in the ring soon to make his debute. I just wanted to share his photos since it was his birthday and I liked how he is looking and wanted to share. Thanks everyone for being so nice and making me not miss my girl that is away so much.
