Laurie Hunter of NIC NAK Yorkshire Terriers sent me an email and I am so excited that all in this special wonderful litter are all alive at 13 yrs old. I had not exchanged emails with Laurie in years and wanted to let her know Crystal was alive and sent pictures and I mentioned Crystals famous brother and she sent me a more recent picture of him that I will show you later. We talked about how she never could have known how much this litter was going to mean in starting her NicNak line of dogs that are now known all over the world....her words "never did I know what these gator kids were going to mean to me" She always spoke in such an endearing way of Crystal and was happy to get pictures. Of course Ali went on to get his championship and sired many many champions through the years and some of the great dogs of today go back to Crystal's brother. Crystal got her championship and I owe so much to Roberta who let me have her as a pet on the condition I would spay after her pups did not turn out as she had hoped and I will be forever grateful. to be continued http://www.nicnakyorkies.com/ |
It was the sweetness of these dogs and as the years went on you can see how the registered names included 'sweet' and 'sugar' Laurie saw my little angel come into this world and the sweetness is there to this day. Some day I will tell you the story of 'Molly' my first yorkie. I have only had two. Here is the one she sent of course alot older. |
Wow, you have every right to brag and feel proud of your baby's siblings in the show ring. The best part of your note to me is that they are all still alive at 13. How wonderful.:D |
I know that is the part I am thrilled about too. Be Be is with a family not too far from her and she is going to get me a picture. |

Amazing - and how beautiful they both are and you would never in a million years know that they were both 13 years. May they all live for another 13 healthy years. I'd be super proud, too. :D |

Crystal has always been one of favorite YT girls...when I first saw her, I knew she had to be related to some of mine, there is no mistaking the imprint of the line...and Crystal certainly hides her age well...!!!! |
Thank You Pat, I know you have some of her Dad's line and I can pick them out anywhere too. Yours are just precious. I don't think I have ever seen ears and ear set to equal Ali's in a long time. He doesn't look Rothby though, I don't think anyway....must be Premar coming out in him or Firacres. It's been fun. Hope I get a picture of BeBE, I'll post it. |

OMG, I am so excited I can hardly type. Today someone started a thread saying she found a wonderful breeder. I mentioned that I knew her but that was it. To make a long story short I have been trying to find info on Crystals sisterCh. Premar's My Gator Baby , I knew she got her championship like Crystal but I didn't know anything but that. Well I found her and her sister is the mother of World Ch. Nic Nak N.Y something lol I'm so excited I forgot but that's close enough, there are only two NicNak names at that point. The line on the bottom that shows home family champions World Winners.....click on world winner. Once you do you will see the NicNak N.Y. something haha click on that and that cutie comes up. On the top right hand side of the pic are three icon, click on the top one and it gives you the pedigree. Be Be you are famous too!! Holy Moly this is too much. Well I got another yesterday and she said she wanted to let me know they will be working on the website over the weekend and the video will be of "Jake" on the champion section and not memorials. I think I will check Monday and can't wait to see who she thinks looks so like Crystal head wise and personality. The pic of "Jake" in memorials is not what she wanted but the dedication she wrote is so moving and you can see what he meant to her. Here I am a 75 yrs old lady with a 13 yr old dog with just enough money to make ends meet and after all this time I am finding out all this. I knew about Ali but not all the rest.
