The Official "I'm waiting for news from Dallas" Thread
 

Alrighty ladies, I am on pins and needles waiting for news from the Dallas Specialty. Anxious to know how some friends are doing over there....hopefully we'll get some news (hint, hint Mary Ann) soon...:)

OK....I posted this also on the Dallas Specialities thread........I am going to take a shot of posting the winners of the Dallas shows. But I did not have a pen and going somewhat on memory.....and I was more than a little nervous about Captain.....so here goes.....

As posted above.....the #1 Yorkie in the country - Tyava's Sure Shot - aka Chandler - won Best of Breed all 3 days - for the Friday speciality and for Saturday & Sunday toy dog shows. I love seeing this dog in person - he has an incredible coat!!

For Friday - Winners Bitch & Best of Winners went to Marne's I Call the Wind Mariah - owner Mary Nehf. (Sorry I do not have the Winners Dog.)

For Saturday - Winners Dog went to Allisstar's Southern Star - Trish was the handler. And Winners Bitch went to Evenstar's Exhiliration - owner Charlie Farrar.

For Sunday - Winners Dog went to Broadway's Danny Rice - shown by Kirsten McGregor - who is Chandler's handler. And Winner's Birth went to Mardelins Miracle Waiting (this is Tahlulah) - owned by Mary Lundgren and Linda Joiner.

Again......Those that attended....please correct me if I am not right!!!

Congrats to all the yorkie winners......I love watching the yorkies and there were some very very nice yorkies at this show!!

As far as my Captain (Silky) - Saturday was not our best - toooooooo many nerves!! But Sunday was out day.....he went Winners Dog & Best of Winners and took a 4 point major and finished.....so he is now Ch. Primeblue Last Mango in Paris!! I can not tell you how excited I am - my first show dog and my first champion and he finished in 6 months & one day!! Yes....I have a picture.....let me get it downloaded and I will post it!

YEa!!! That's wonderful!!! I wish I could help with the other winners, but I don't know any of their names. There were some pretty ones there, though!!!

I wish I was there!!! :( That's so exciting!!! You know I'm hooked now & have to go again sometime!!! You've definitely got to keep me updated on all the ones in this area, ok???:D

Ok, what happened to my post about Mary & Talulah???? This is crazy! I posted it right after the one to Kristin? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Hi there! Sorry about the delay..Yes, I was thrilled for Mary and Talulah winning the 4 pt major! My little CJ won 9 - 12 Puppy Dog and Best Senior Puppy at the Sweeps. Won 9 - 12 next two days. Main thing, he looked GREAT!! I was SO proud of him and the way he showed. Trish does such a wonderful job. I'll try to post a short video later.

It was a wonderful weekend getting to see and meet the best of the best! Getting to spend time with Mary and having 3 days with Lee and Earl Grunwald was FANTASTIC!! Lee has probably forgot more than most people will ever know. I just sat and listen and tried to absorb as much as possible in that short of time. They, like Mary have become good friends that I will always treasure. Can't wait to go back!

Had planned on posting all the winners, but, my catalog is in my suitcase, which is at the hotel, in Dallas.....I'm home....Hmmmmmmm, hubby forgot the keys and set the suitcase by the van door.. Someone picked it up and turned it in to the front desk and he forgot about it. Now, I just have to figure out how to get it home..
