Sheba took Group 1 in Puppy Match I was very excited when my 15 month old puppy Sheba took a Group 1 at the puppy match in Amarillo. It was a lot of fun and really good practice for her. At the end my sister got a little wobbly with the recording. http://www.tx2stepnyorkies.com/images/MVI_1453.avi |

congrats she is a real mover in the video, best of luck with her |
Awesome - that's the first time ever seeing any type of video of showing in the ring....thanks for sharing and congrats!! |
Thanks! It was sooo much fun. I was thinking that the crested would take the group and was hoping for a Group 2, so I was very excited to get placed 1st. I'm really excited because Sheba kept her tail up the whole time. She has been putting it down some in the ring at the real shows. She hasn't been afraid, but just acted a little unsure about the ring. It was really neat to see her show well. |
Congratulations. Way to go Sheba. |
:number1ri Congratulations! :number1ri I would love to see some pictures of her close up :D |
Wow, she is so beautiful!! Congrats Sheba!!! |

My friend took some pictures at the match too so maybe she got one of Sheba that she will send to me. |
Congratulations! And fun matches are great. I wish there were more of fun matches where puppies can get their pratice of a show environment... lots of people and dogs, and noise! But I also realize that it may take almost as much time and effort for organizers to put up a fun match as shows. I just looked through the string of pictures you shared. Your yorkies are beautiful! |
1 Attachment(s) Thank you! I have really enjoy every minute with my dogs. God has truly blessed me. Sheba (Tx2Stepn's Diamond In Da Ruff) got 2 points in the 9 - 12 month puppy class that I did not expect to get, so I won't be able to get a Bred-by Medallion, but she is really fun to show. I'm still working on getting her stacking right. I got the pix from the puppy match and I didn't do a good job of stacking her there either. I guess that I was so concentrated on getting her feet on the ground that I didn't notice that I had them too far back and her front was not straight. That's why I like to get pix when I first start to show them, so that I can see what I'm are doing wrong. LOL... The blame is all mine!:aimeeyork |
Congrats, She is a lovely girl. Sometimes the show pics are the hardest to get right :) Keep up the good work and keep having fun, thats what its really all about isn't it? :D :p I love my dogs and my time with them is the most important. Hugs Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |
She looks a bit perturbed in the pic. Maybe she's just tired of all the fuss. I always commiserate with Connor saying I know it's hard on him being so beautiful. Aw, the life of a show dog. She a doll, have a great time with her. |
