My SweetPea's first time in the ring: Third Place!

Hello everyone.. .great news (for me anyway, and I am a bit embarassed to even brag about it!... sorry if I appear to be so eager, but this is just too exciting for me!):rolleyes:
This afternoon was the YTC Northern California B-Match and yorkie extravanganza. My SweetPea entered in the Puppies/Bitches 6-9 months class, and she came in third. For the fun portion of the show, she joined the fashion show and she got first place for wearing the dress that YT designer Des of go.fetch made for her. She also received a tiny cup for being the youngest puppy in the show. Below are her pictures: the first two were taken two days ago, the next are the ribbons, cup, band and bow she wore (momentos!:D ). The next post is My SweetPea wearing the first place in fashion show dress that Des made for her. When I get copies of pictures of other pitures and the one on the table with the judge taken today during the match, I will post those too.
Now, I think, I will be able to start showing My SweetPea! :D Thanks for looking, and thank you all for your encouragement :thumbup: and support.

Lita, That is awesome!!! Congratulations! Are you totally hooked now? I am so jealous! I would love to try the same. I just have to find the right puppy!

For the fun extravanganza fashion show, My SweetPea wore this fourth of July attire made by Des. It was so well done, and a perfect fit! The next photo is me and My SweetPea prior to the show, and then My SweetPea, all tired and sleepy after the match! Thanks for looking!:D

that is awesome. how do you find out about these events? whenever there is one here, i find out once they advertise the show but never before the event to enter

What a DOLL !!! Keep it up. I just started showing last July and now I live for the shows !! Got the bug BAD.

Oh Lita, I am so excited for you . . .Congratulations. I did not realize you were signing her up for the dog show . . . when you approached me about making the stars and stripes dress I thought it was only for a fashion show. I bet you are beaming with pride for winning 3rd on showing her and 1st place on the fashion show :thumbup:

congrats, you should be very proud...its gets easier from her on, the more you do it less and less stage fright ...then it becomes fun, win or lose its just great fun to participate!

Thanks for your patience in answering questions, and there are a thousand details to understand and to learn. And I continue to keep reading all your responses,comments and opinions to all questions posted here in YT on any and all things that is related to showing and grooming. I have been showing my 2 girls since Feb., I GOT THE SHOW BUG BAD. Have met some very wonderful people at the shows.
