Gotta love the unpredicatability of an outdoor show!

We went this weekend in Bandon Oregon, (at the Oregon Coast) what a fun little show it was...despite the high winds, unmowed grass and cold weather!!!grrrrrrrrr

Summer did me proud receiving her first points taking Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed...We took a pic but god knows if you will even see her in it because of the winds her hair, my hair, and judge (June Penta) hair, the photographers hair ....well you get the picture!

We went on to Group by the time Toy Group started the winds were higher and oh sooo burry cold our teeth were chattering, she was done with it, she looked at me saying get me out of here I do not want to walk dont make me dont make me, her tail stayed down the entire time!!

Sunday Summer just couldnt be bothered putting her tail up, she was so over it!! Judge (William Bergum) said she is a very nice girl, cant you get her tail up, I politely said she is not a happy girl being blown around in the wind a second day, he said well ya think I like it:) as he readjusted his hat that almost blew off despite his chin tie!

Sunday Rumor, her "daughter" took Reserve today for her second time in the ring....yippie....all in all was a wonderful weekend !! I think Summer is my one day wonder, put her in two days in a row and you will get nothing from her!!

I'm glad your day in the cold, blustery weather wasn't all in vain. Hopefully next time conditions will be more favorable and Summer can really knock em dead.:number1ri

Those outdoor shows can be challenging! Sounds like you did great though. These dogs do have a mind of their own though. I saw one of Laurie's dogs, Deuce, limp once because he didn't want to go into the ring. It was a fake, he was fine after ring time was over. Little stinker got out of showing that day but he's a real winner when he's on!

YAY to Summer and Rumor :D CONGRATS Kim, you must be very proud, as well you should be..hehe. It's so weird that the weather is so cold in other places. It's been triple digits here :eek: CONGRATS again on the win!

thank you so much, what a thrill it was...Ive only shown Summer twice before so I was very pleased with a Best of Breed, I was scared to death going into groups but what a great experience that was as well, now if I can only figure out a way to glue her tail up:)

It was great meeting you this weekend at CoosBay. You had Summer looking super. You both looked good in the group competition. I'm sure you'll finish in no time.
