When I bought Nina, the breeder told me she was UKC Reg. but the papers were not there yet and would send them to me I saw the papers Briefly however two months later I didnt have them yet so I called her and she gave me a run around come to find out Nina is not UKC reg but CKC Continental Kennel Club,
I was heart broken because of what I have been told this is not a good Kennel Club and all my dreams of showing seemed to be thrown down the drain, does anyone know about this kennel club I have been to the website and can not find anything on shows I have had yorkies in the past and never had problems with breeders or AKC OR UKC this Kennel club to me is very new to me

You will not be able to show your dog in either AKC, or UKC events. CKC is a club that was created for those that could not measure up to the standards of AKC or UKC. Almost anyone can register under CKC, whether or not you have a pure bred dog or a mixed breed.

Yes I am aware of this that is why I was heart broken..
trying to find out why the breeder had a AKC mother but breed with UKC stud
I saw the papers for them parents but didnt know any better..
found out today Breeder is being checked out for faulse advertising for what I understand she upset more then myself because newspaper ad states UKC REG.
I was and am not happy with what she did but I am in love with my baby Nina and my husband and I are talking about spaying her so there wont be any accidents

Such a shame that happened to you.
For future reference, when buying a puppy that you want AKC registered, the breeder should give you a receipt identifying the puppy, who the buyer and seller is, dates of sale, the price you paid for it and that AKC Full Registration papers to follow ( or Limited reg. if that is the deal). Without such documentation it is hard to even begin to pursue through the courts and to complain to AKC.

I received a receipt stating when and how much I paid and buyers name address,phone number and with my name and my information.
as far as AKC or UKC I dont mind either but not CKC (Continental) its a waste Cananda CKC is a good one also. I am just upset that this lady lied to me and was out for just the money.
its a shame too because of mom and dads Pedgrees they could have done a lot better if they would have had mom with the same registration.
if I ever get another Yorkie I will make sure its a AKC OR UKC so in case I decide to breed I love puppies but I dont want to help bring them in the world to have them in shelters or abused I rather get them from shelters or from breeders I know I sound crazy but the shelters are over populated and I dont want my babies making babes and have something like that happen to them. my mom raises Rotties and she has it in contract that in the event they can not properly take care of the big babies they will go back to my mom and she will give a percentage back to the owners when they sign over the puppy(ies} to my parents and I have noticed alot more breeders are doing that I think its wonderful

Glad to hear you want to do things the right way! Sorry for the problem you've had. If you are interested in showing and/or breeding, please get your puppy from a reputable AKC show breeder. It's not easy and it takes time. Try and find a mentor, this is very important and will help you so much! Go to the shows in your area and talk to exhibitors, look at the dogs. You can also visit ytca.org to get a list of exhibitor/breeders in your area. AND, like you are doing, love your little baby, it's not her fault. Good luck!
