Northern California Yorkie Show Hey there - I found on YTCA.org that there is going to be a specialty show on 10/21 in Pleasanton in Northern Cali - Anyone planning on going? I have been wanting to go for ages so I'm finally going! Here is the info: Yorkshire Terrier Club of Northern California Saturday, October 21, 2006 Crowne Plaza Hotel, 11950 Dublin Canyon Road, Pleasanton, CA (925) 847-6000 Conformation Judge: Doris Cozart Sweepstakes Judge: Parry Tallmadge Show Chairman: Carol Schwarzbach (925) 946-0665 Martins375@aol.com Show Secretary: Debi Best 2463 Easy Street, San Leandro, CA 94578 (510) 278-4642 DLBest7@earthlink.net Del Valle Kennel Club has their all breed shows on Sunday and Monday, which are also in Pleasanton a few miles from the Hotel. MB-F Inc. is their Show Superintendent. |
That sounds like fun! If nothing is going on that weekend I might head over there. Can we bring our furbabies? |
I am on the east coast... so you will have to come back and fill us all in on your experience! :excited: Take lots of pics!! |
I think you're actually not supposed to bring your pup - show dogs only. I guess I can understand - I think Buddy would be trying to play with everyone! |
Every dog show I have attended has strict rules that no dogs are allowed on the grounds unless registered for the show. Although i could not tell you how many times owner handler have brought the "best bud" of their dog they were showing. But they were always in top condition (coat wise) and in an x-pen, who would know? But a non-show dog would stick out like a sore thumb. I don't think I would want to take my two with me, I want to pay attnetion to those in the ring and getting ready! |
Is this a show where the dogs are judged or a show where you buy things related to yorkies? Sorry if this question seems dumb, but I couldn't find much information on their website about it. |
And I so wish I had not moved to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!!!!! I would be there in a heartbeat!!!! Man I'm bummed!!!!!! WHY DID I MOVE??????????:thumbdown  :thumbdown |
